Back in school, An Yiqing, Gu Tingting, Ruan Xue, and a few of the crazy girls from the dorm next door often went to the KTV to have fun. Although An Yiqing didn't enjoy the noise, having friends around made the ruckus somewhat bearable. However, going with Gu Yelin was indeed a first.
As for Gu Yelin, he had obviously been to a KTV, just not the typical ones. He frequented high-end venues that offered dining and club services under one roof. Growing up under the roots of the Imperial City, he was always cold and aloof but had plenty of friends. For instance, Bai Yiming, An Zhihang, An Zhiyan, and their ilk were all close friends. Especially that mischievous Bai Yiming who would often organize parties that lasted all night. Gu Yelin often acted as the vibrant background wall he brought along.
So, although Gu Yelin never sang, he had been to various clubs and venues countless times to act as the dazzling background for that group of good brothers.
