Mo Shangjun stood up and brushed off the grass clippings from her body.
Bending down to pick up her training hat, she suddenly asked Ya Tianxing, "Do we get paid for overtime?"
Ya Tianxing paused, turned to look at her, and answered simply, "No."
"I protest."
Mo Shangjun coolly said, with one hand in her pocket.
Thinking it over, Ya Tianxing made a slight compromise, "I'll buy you dinner."
"The free food at the 907 Canteen?" Mo Shangjun frowned.
Ya Tianxing sighed, "We'll eat out."
"Alright."
Mo Shangjun also made a suitable concession.
Lazily glancing up at the sun, Mo Shangjun stretched her muscles, then followed behind Ya Tianxing.
The eagle, Buddha, circled around before landing steadily on Mo Shangjun's shoulder upon seeing her.
The young eagle, only a few months old, was small and light, perched on Mo Shangjun's shoulder with a proud stance but still appeared quite adorable.
