It's not just that she has complex feelings towards Lu Chensha, but Lu Chensha also lacks closeness towards his mother, Xu Ruyin, who he's seen only a handful of times since childhood.
"Sigh." Hong Lian saw the slightly awkward mother and son, and felt a sigh in her heart, trying her best to ease the relationship between them.
...
Lu Changsheng was unaware of Xu Ruyin's matters.
He, together with Qu Zhenzhen, rode on Qu Changge's Spirit Treasure Flying Boat and arrived at the Jin Kingdom, Yiming Ghost Sect.
"Husband, is Quanzhen here?"
Although Qu Zhenzhen knew that the Jin Kingdom is a Demon Path country,
she couldn't help but frown as she looked at the ghostly and overcast Yiming Ghost Sect, wondering how such a place could accommodate human living.
She really disliked it, even felt a bit resistant.
"Yes, this is Yiming Ghost Sect."
