The old mentor looked up at Ye Long and asked, "How are things going with Mei Er recently?"
Hearing this, Ye Long felt a bit apprehensive. Could it be the old man is planning to push him into marrying Mei?
However, it seemed unlikely given all that had happened recently, plus the mentor had been busy meddling in all sorts of affairs. Who would have the energy to fuss over a wedding?
Ye Long casually shrugged and replied, "Just fine, what's up?"
"Nothing, aren't you two about to get married soon?" The old mentor looked at Ye Long and continued.
"Yeah," Ye Long nodded, feeling more apprehensive. Could it be the old mentor was really urging this marriage?
But the mentor's next words took Ye Long by surprise.
After Ye Long nodded, the old mentor immediately followed with, "Don't marry Mei Er for now."
"Huh... Why?" Ye Long asked, looking shocked.
He was under the impression that the mentor wanted him to marry Mei, but now he's saying not to for the time being?
