Gong Ting sent Xiao Yu to the restroom, he let go of her, and said gently, "Go ahead, I'll wait for you outside."
Xiao Yu was annoyed by his constant supervision, but she couldn't do anything about it, so she reluctantly walked into the restroom. She stood at the sink, washed her hands, and looked up at the mirror, seeing her luxurious reflection, and couldn't help but sigh.
Earlier, when she walked into the banquet hall with Gong Ting, how many people looked at her with envy? Why did she feel no pride at all?
People came and went, and seeing her daydreaming at the sink, they either envied or nodded kindly at her, which Xiao Yu knew was all thanks to Gong Ting.
Otherwise, at such a banquet, who would notice her?
She felt stifled and couldn't breathe, and after quite a while, she lifted her dress hem and walked out of the restroom.
