Gong Ting returned to the Gong residence, and Morin greeted him from the house, "Young Master, you're back. Old Master is waiting for you in the study."
Gong Ting nodded and walked quickly towards the study. As soon as he pushed the door open, an unidentified flying object hurled towards him. He dodged, and it fell to the ground with a heavy thud.
Old Master Gong braced both hands on the desk, glaring at him furiously, "If I don't call you, will you never return home?"
Gong Ting looked at the inkstone on the floor, the one he had brought back from Beicheng last year knowing the old man liked it. Old Master Gong had always regarded it as a treasure, reluctant to use it. Now, he had hurled it at him, showing he was truly furious.
Gong Ting sat down beside the sofa, "I'm very busy, you know that."
