After Shangguan Xiu walked out of the cemetery, he asked the driver and the bodyguard. Upon learning the direction in which that family of three had driven, Shangguan Xiu dismissed the bodyguard and the driver and drove off himself, pursuing in the direction they had left.
Why was he chasing them?
This all started when he saw that family of three leaving earlier, at that moment, Shangguan Xiu had a vague sense of unease, feeling that something was not right.
Afterwards, his gaze repeatedly returned to those few footprints in front of An Qiqi's tombstone.
Suddenly, he remembered what had triggered his thoughts.
He recalled, the woman with loose cotton clothing and pink hair, carried away by her 'father,' and Shangguan Xiu noticed her shoes.
The soles of those shoes, surprisingly, were very similar to the footprints in front of An Qiqi's tombstone.
