"An Xiaomian, listen, come back, come back to my side, An Xiaomian, An Xiaomian..." Shangguan Xiu's voice continued to call out to her.
After hearing it, An Xiaomian became even more anxious: "Shangguan Xiu, I can't reach you..."
Crying, she shouted these words, then suddenly opened her eyes wide, and sat up abruptly. She looked around and realized that it was already getting dark outside.
It turned out she had just been dreaming.
After returning to the hotel today, she'd taken some painkillers and felt sleepy, so she dozed off on the sofa and started dreaming, dreaming about previous events, and also about Shangguan Xiu getting into trouble.
She reached out to touch her cheeks, and the tear tracks were still there, and her heart still ached, her whole body felt very uncomfortable.
Although everything just now was merely a dream, it felt exceptionally real to her.
She immediately rushed into the bathroom, washed her face casually, put on a coat, and dashed out.
