As Little Baozi walked with his mom, he turned to glance at Jun Ye.

Little Baozi felt sorry for his dad, and also for his mom, not knowing whose side to take. He almost wished his parents would have a big fight, so he could clearly know whom to side with, though his little heart was afraid.
Bai Lu was taking her son to kindergarten when, as she picked up Little Baozi's backpack to leave, Jun Ye spoke up: "I'll take him."
Little Baozi and his mom turned back in surprise, looking at Jun Ye as if he were an alien.
Jun Ye, under the gaze of mother and son, almost showed a hint of embarrassment on his face, lightly coughed to cover it up: "Isn't this on the way."
