[His Majesty the Divine Emperor, Kazehaya Haru.]
I invite the Castle Lords and Rangers to join the Great Aetherium's war against the Light Empire. This battle starts from the wilderness and we strike directly at the Light Empire's territory.
The Great Aetherium will deploy:
Astral CitiesThe Airship Corps200,000 Gods2 Million Angels200 Million-strong Imperial Army
The Divine War is approaching and this is the last opportunity for the Castle Faction to grow stronger. Don't miss it.
And remember, I can win this battle with or without you. So anyone who decides to join the allied forces better be on their best behaviour, otherwise…
Anyways, Advanced Cities have been constructed in the wilderness for the allied forces to assemble. The teleportation coordinates are as follows.
_____________
The entire Castle Faction erupted into chaos. Countless Castle Lords and Rangers were awakened from sleep. The World Chat Channel lit up and didn't stop.
Haru's message dropped before sunrise, but it didn't matter. Half the world was already awake. Supernaturals didn't need to sleep as meditation had replaced it long ago. So when the World Chat Channel lit up, billions of Castle Lords and Rangers were already there to see it.
[Did you see the title bestowed upon Haru by the GM? His Majesty the Divine Emperor! I want a flashy title like this too.]
[Dream on, you think you're worthy of being compared to Lord Haru?]
[The war is on! My legion has been ready, just for this.]
[The Evil Pantheon threw a million Gods at Haru and lost every single one. Does the Light Empire think they can do better?]
[200,000 True Gods. 2 Million Angels. 200 Million Imperial Troops. Since when did the Angel count reach TWO MILLION?!]
[It must be the Troop Summoning Blueprints. That's the only logical explanation.]
[My army doesn't even have 10k troops, yet the Great Aetherium has 200 Million Troops…]
[As His Majesty said, this is truly our last real chance before the Divine War. Miss this war and you'll regret it on a battlefield where regret doesn't help.]
…
The [Sisterhood Collective] alliance seemed even happier.
"Sisters, immediately gather your armies. We move to the wilderness now."
"Kill every enemy you meet. Break every city you reach. Whether we survive the Divine War depends on how we perform here."
"Understood, Sister Diane."
They weren't alone. Every major castle faction was moving — the [Ice and Snow Alliance], [Ranger Alliance], [Dawn Alliance], and more, all arriving at the same conclusion: this was a war they definitely wouldn't lose, as they had the backing of six Supreme Gods. Sitting it out would be the stupidest decision they could ever make.
…
The [Ranger Alliance] moved fastest. With no territories and no armies to muster, they just had to arm themselves and go.
Within an hour, hundreds of millions of Rangers had teleported into the cities set up by the Great Aetherium. The weakest among them were King Tier while the strongest had already ascended to Godhood.
"There are thirty-eight cities." someone said, reading the count aloud, "All 'Advanced'. All in the no-man's land."
"How much did that cost him?"
"Oh c'mon! His Majesty is a peak Supreme God. You think he would care about these few resources?"
"…Fair point."
The Rangers settled in and waited.
"There are going to be enough mobs in the Light Empire for everyone to gain enough exp, right?"
"Depends on who moves faster."
"Then we move faster."
…
Dawn broke and Castle Lords hit their recruitment queues, merged fresh troops with existing legions, and filed into teleportation arrays.
The thirty-eight cities held nothing but teleportation arrays. Haru hadn't stocked provisions, that was on the Castle Lords. Food could later be taken from the Light Empire anyway.
By afternoon, the queue had thinned.
"I waited four hours just for the teleportation."
"Last time, during the Demon Slayer Tournament, trillions of troops went to Arboriel instantly."
"That was an 'official event'. This is not. Of course there wouldn't be mass teleportation or life saving measures. If you die out there—"
"You're dead."
A beat of quiet.
"Could we borrow a few Guardian Angels? The ones with resurrection magic?"
"The Imperial Army has 200 million troops and 2 million Angels to manage. You want them to spare some to babysit you?"
"The fact that His Majesty is taking us along in this war is already generous. Don't push your luck."
