Strax spent a few seconds staring at the enormous hole he had opened in the palace wall. The black gauntlet still covered his right arm, small chains spiraling around his forearm while fragments of Hades's authority circulated through the newly formed metal. Persephone continued staring at the destruction with an expression shifting between outrage and resignation, but Strax seemed perfectly satisfied with the result. He opened and closed his hand a few times, felt the relic follow every movement without resistance, then let the energy subside until the black lines around his arm lost some of their glow.
"Well, I'm going back to Asgard," he said.
Persephone slowly looked away from the destroyed wall.
"You're leaving now?"
"For the moment."
