5:00 AM
Lin Mo was awakened by the sound of his alarm clock.
He had drunk a little too much the night before, and his head still ached slightly.
Rubbing his temples, Lin Mo looked around the room in confusion.
"How... did I get back home?"
He sat on the edge of the bed, trying to piece together the events of the previous night.
A wry smile appeared on his face.
"So I was carried upstairs?"
Although he had no memory of anything after getting into the car, he could make a pretty good guess.
Shaking his head helplessly, Lin Mo picked up his phone and checked the messages.
The previous night, Zhang Yaohua had sent him the schedule for today's wedding convoy.
According to the plan, the vehicles would leave the company at 6:30 AM.
First, they would arrive at the groom's house.
After picking up Xu Shan and loading the wedding gifts, they would proceed to the bride's home.
The entire process was expected to take until around 8:30 AM.
By the time they reached the hotel, it would probably be after 9:00 AM.
"Hmm, that sounds about right."
After a quick mental calculation, Lin Mo got up and headed to the bathroom.
After showering and freshening up, he stood in front of the mirror.
He tied a bright red tie, carefully styled his hair, and put on a well-fitted suit.
"Perfect."
He nodded in satisfaction.
Then he headed downstairs.
As soon as he entered the dining area, he saw Huang Yuan and several maids having breakfast.
Everyone was surprised.
"Boss? Why are you up so early today?"
Huang Yuan looked puzzled.
"Oh, I have to help with a wedding convoy today."
"You all go ahead and eat."
Then he added,
"Butler Huang, please drive me to Yongda Holdings later."
"Of course, Boss."
Huang Yuan immediately set down her chopsticks and began making preparations.
When they arrived at Yongda Holdings Group, Zhang Yaohua had already been waiting for quite some time.
Alongside him stood seventeen professional drivers.
The company's parking lot was filled with eighteen Rolls-Royce Phantoms.
Every single one was a top-of-the-line model.
Rows of Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornaments gleamed in the morning sunlight.
"A fleet of top-spec Rolls-Royce Phantoms."
"Not bad."
Lin Mo nodded approvingly.
"You've done well."
Zhang Yaohua immediately became nervous and replied,
"Of course, Chairman Lin!"
"Everything was arranged according to your instructions."
After briefly reviewing the preparations, Lin Mo gave a few reminders to the drivers.
Then Zhang Yaohua asked respectfully,
"Chairman Lin, shall we depart?"
"Let's go."
Lin Mo entered the lead vehicle.
The convoy immediately headed toward Xu Shan's residence.
It was 6:30 AM.
Traffic was still relatively light, allowing the convoy to move smoothly through the city.
Although Xu Shan lived quite far from Yongda Holdings, they still arrived at his residential community around 6:50 AM.
As eighteen Rolls-Royce Phantoms entered the neighborhood, they instantly attracted attention.
Many elderly residents who had come out to buy breakfast stopped and stared.
Some pointed at the vehicles while whispering among themselves.
Others openly expressed their admiration.
Even people who didn't recognize the exact model could tell from the imposing appearance that these were extremely expensive luxury cars.
The convoy finally stopped outside Xu Shan's apartment building.
Lin Mo took out his phone and called him.
"Hey, Shanzi."
"I'm downstairs."
"Which floor are you on?"
"Linzi, you're here already?"
Xu Shan sounded surprised.
"I'm in Apartment 702."
"Take the elevator up."
"The door's open. Just come in."
The background on the other end was filled with noise and activity.
After hanging up, Lin Mo instructed the drivers to wait downstairs before heading upstairs alone.
Apartment 702 was bustling with activity.
The entire living room was being decorated.
Wedding gifts had already been prepared.
Boxes of pastries, cartons of cigarettes, and other traditional items covered the tables.
Everything was wrapped in red paper and decorated with festive red ribbons.
Xu Shan's parents were busily moving about.
As natives of a small town, they were both nervous and excited about their son's wedding day.
Several of Xu Shan's colleagues and relatives had also arrived early to serve as groomsmen.
Meanwhile, a photographer sat quietly in the corner, sipping tea while waiting for the ceremony to begin.
After ending the call, Xu Shan turned to his parents.
"Dad, Mom."
"My friend is here."
"The wedding convoy is already downstairs."
"Oh?"
His mother glanced at the clock on the wall.
"Then hurry up and welcome him."
"The departure time is 7:08."
"We only have about twenty minutes left."
One of the groomsmen also reminded him,
"Make sure you've got everything."
"The bouquet, the gifts, and all the other essentials."
Xu Shan nodded and walked toward the door.
Just as he arrived, the elevator opened.
Lin Mo stepped out.
"Linzi, you're here!"
Xu Shan greeted him with a grin.
"Haha, congratulations!"
Lin Mo laughed heartily.
"Should we start moving the gifts downstairs?"
"Let's do it."
Xu Shan immediately called the groomsmen over.
Together, they began carrying the wedding gifts downstairs.
When everyone reached the ground floor, they froze.
The eighteen Rolls-Royce Phantoms parked outside were simply too eye-catching.
One of the groomsmen stared in disbelief.
"Brother Xu..."
"Is this your wedding convoy?"
"Didn't you say it was supposed to be eight Audi A6s?"
"These aren't Audi A6s!"
"These are Rolls-Royce Phantoms!"
Another groomsman gasped.
"My God!"
"Eighteen Rolls-Royce Phantoms!"
"That's insane!"
The entire group was stunned.
Everyone looked at Xu Shan in shock.
Xu Shan smiled awkwardly.
"Hehe..."
"The dealership canceled my Audi A6 reservation yesterday."
"So my brother helped me arrange these."
"What?"
One of the groomsmen immediately became furious.
"The dealership actually canceled your cars the day before the wedding?"
"That's outrageous!"
"Yeah!"
"But replacing them with eighteen Rolls-Royce Phantoms?"
"That's even crazier!"
The crowd erupted into discussion.
Xu Shan scratched his nose.
"Actually..."
"I didn't pay for any of these."
"My brother arranged them for free."
The moment those words were spoken, everyone became even more confused.
At that moment, Lin Mo calmly explained,
"These cars belong to my company."
A simple sentence.
Yet everyone present gasped in shock.
His company?
What kind of company could own eighteen Rolls-Royce Phantoms?
After all, eighteen top-spec Rolls-Royce Phantoms were worth well over one hundred million yuan.
For most companies, owning even a single luxury vehicle would already be considered impressive.
Yet Lin Mo had casually produced eighteen of them at once.
The groomsmen stared at him in complete disbelief.
For a moment, nobody knew what to say.
