Chapter 127 - Anti-Apocalypse Armour

Tony lay broken on the ground. Blood pooled beneath him. His armor was shattered. Gone. Only fragments remained scattered around his body.

Apocalypse walked toward him slowly. Each step was deliberate. Final. The ancient mutant's face showed satisfaction. Victory.

"You fought magnificently." Apocalypse's voice echoed across the ruins. "Better than anyone in five thousand years. But in the end, experience trumps potential. Age trumps youth. And I am eternal."

He raised his hand. Energy gathered. Swirling. Concentrated. The killing blow prepared.

Tony couldn't move. His left arm was gone below the elbow. His ribs were crushed. One lung collapsed. Blood loss too severe. His Homo Supreme healing factor screamed trying to keep him alive but it wasn't enough.

'Not enough. Can't win this. Too damaged. Too weak.'

His vision faded. Darkness creeping in from the edges. This was it. The end.

'Come on, just a bit longer,' he thought.

Strange's voice cut through the telepathic network, sounding triumphant.

"Final dimensional anchor severed! He's trapped! Now!"

Tony's eyes snapped open. Full focus returning. Because that was the signal. The one he'd been waiting for.

'Not done yet. One more card to play. The final card. The one nobody knows about.'

He activated the emergency protocol. The one built into his very cells during the third evolution. Quantum-encoded. Impossible to detect.

"M.A.R.V.E.L., initiate Protocol Apex."

Apocalypse heard him speak. Paused. Confusion crossed his face.

"What are you doing? You're defeated. Accept your death with dignity."

Tony smiled. Blood stained his teeth. "I lied about something. Back when I crushed the Space Echo. When I said I had six Infinity Stone echoes but only needed two for the plan."

"What?"

"I didn't use six. I built eight. And four of them are still active."

From the Infinity Chamber, still existing in its pocket quantum dimension, systems activated. The chamber had been monitoring the battle the entire time. Waiting for this exact moment.

A portal opened. Not blue like the Space Echo. Golden. Pure energy.

Something emerged.

Armor. But not like anything anyone had seen before. It wasn't the Mark Infinity Supreme. That suit was destroyed. This was something else entirely.

The armor was sleek. Black as midnight with veins of gold running through it. Four crystalline cores were embedded in the chest plate. Each one glowing with a different color.

Reality red. Power purple. Time green. Soul orange.

The four remaining Infinity Stone echoes. All integrated into a single suit.

Apocalypse's eyes widened. "You built a suit with four Infinity Stone signatures? That's impossible. The energy requirements alone would..."

"Would kill a normal human. Good thing I'm not human anymore." Tony's voice was steady despite the pain. "M.A.R.V.E.L., deploy Anti-Apocalypse Protocol."

The armor flew toward Tony. Nanites activated before it even reached him. They flowed over his broken body like liquid metal. Sealing wounds. Stabilizing injuries. The suit integrated with his flesh seamlessly.

Within seconds, Tony was fully armored. The pain didn't disappear but it became manageable. Bearable.

He stood up slowly. The armor's systems hummed with power. Four Infinity echoes pulsing in rhythm with his heartbeat.

Across Cairo, heroes watched in shock.

Captain America stared at the screen. "What is that? What kind of suit is that?"

Black Widow's expression was calculating. "He's been holding back. This entire time. Even after using the Space and Mind echoes, he had more."

Doctor Strange could sense the power emanating from the armor. His mystical senses screamed warnings. "That's not just technology. Those are actual Infinity Stone echo signatures. Four of them. The amount of power required to maintain that is..."

"Impossible for anyone except him." Jean Grey finished. Her weakened Phoenix senses could feel it. "He's become something that can wield that power without being destroyed by it."

In shelters across the world, people watched the transformation.

"He's standing. The Iron Man is standing!"

"Look at that armor. It's different. Stronger."

"We might actually survive this."
