On the beach with the jagged black rocks behind them stood a child, but they weren't a boy.
Davian stared in stunned silence at the young child who looked no older than 5 or maybe 6 years of age. The small and slender figure of a little girl dressed in deep emerald green dress which had the patterns of waves and silver embroidery. Her long snow-white hair cascaded down her shoulders. Her face was almost like that of an angelic child which would be described in holy scriptures but for some reason, the expression of the child seemed tense. Her eyes framed with the thick white lashes were blue resembling the frozen deep blue lakes.
But it wasn't the presence of the child that made Davian freeze, it was the resemblance which somewhere collided in his head but he shook it away.
