The white hamster sitting on the broken log had its fur lifted by the sea breeze. Because it hadn't been able to properly groom itself for some time, the fluff on its body was always dirtied by sand and soil, and the salty dampness of the seawater on top of that had made it shed terribly lately.
It had dreamed many times that it had gone bald.
When the sea wind brushed over it, it even felt a chill of bare cold on the top of its head.
