Hou Tingfu threw herself onto the sofa; she was slim, and as she collapsed onto it, it seemed as if her whole body was about to sink into the cushions.
She rested her head on the top of the chair's back, lifting her head to look at the glaring lights, but they hurt her eyes, so Hou Tingfu closed them again.
After a while, she exhaled a breath of stale air and dragged her weary body up from the sofa.
She went to the storage cabinet to take out her personal phone; during work hours, Hou Tingfu locked her personal phone in the cabinet.
Once she turned on her phone, she tossed it onto the coffee table again.
But soon, Yan Nanxun's dedicated ringtone chimed from her personal phone, making Hou Tingfu jump up.
Yan Nanxun hadn't messaged her in a long time, and Hou Tingfu had forgotten that she had set a unique ringtone for his messages.
