After returning from the island, the first thing Leng Zirui did when he got ashore was to find a bar and go in for a drink. He finished the drink the bartender brought him in one go, and casually ordered another. He instructed his subordinate to wait there for him, then got up and walked to the bathroom, quickly entering a stall and sitting down on the toilet before immediately dialing Ah Jiu's number.
"This is ROY. Has that girl left?"
"Mr. Leng." On the other end, Ah Jiu's voice was tinged with helplessness. "Miss Xu is in trouble."
"What happened?" Leng Zirui's eyebrows immediately furrowed.
"She and Xiao Jie had already booked tickets to return to Beijing, but there was an issue during airport security. They found contraband in their luggage, and now they've been taken to the police station. I'm on my way there now."
