The question was as good as unasked; Xu Lele frowned slightly, feeling that Lian Xinying was being a bit slick.
"You shouldn't be short of money right now, right?" Xu Lele asked this to lead to the next important question.
Lian Xinying knew what she wanted to ask next as soon as the question was posed.
"This should be a very private matter, right? Just like if I asked you how much you were paid for doing this show, it doesn't seem appropriate." Lian Xinying answered, clearly not intending to tell Xu Lele.
