Scarlett's POV
I got back to the pack house using the underground passage in less than a few minutes, I was sweating and breathing heavily.
I ran madly from the woods down to here, I wanted to confirm if what Mira said was actually true.
I ran down the hallway and suddenly bumped into Alpha Axel and his men, I froze immediately.
Were they out looking for me?
"Scarlett, are you okay?" Alpha Axel asked as he closed up the space between us.
I kept mute and stared at him while breathing heavily, I was speechless and didn't know what to say if he asked me the reason why I left my room.
"Yes I am, why are you out here with the guards?" I asked after getting my voice.
He folded his arms and frowned at me,
"Where are you coming from?" He asked and my head went blank immediately.
What do I fucking tell him? He would be so mad at him if I told him I visited the woods? I should have been more careful as I ran down the hallway, what do I do now?
