"Zylo and Tigranov are still alive? Weren't they dead?"
Christine and the Beast Gods around her stared in disbelief. They were sure that those two were dead. Christine, in particular, remembered the moment clearly when she felt their Divine Auras vanish completely. That was definitely not fake.
'Did the Great Aetherium resurrect them?' But both of them were High Gods. Tigranov had been an early stage High God and Zylo had been a late stage High God.
Resurrecting either one would cost even a Supreme God a staggering price. Even more shocking was that these two were Haru's enemies. So why were their auras here, alive and close, just beyond the throne room?
"Resurrection… of a High God?" Even Elf Goddess Elunara, who sat opposite Haru, was shaken. As a late-stage Supreme Goddess, she knew exactly how hard it was.
Even she could not do it alone. At minimum, she'd need help from her friends Svetlana and Pandora, pooling three Supreme Goddesses' power to drag the High God's existence back from the long river of time, space, and destiny.
She was sure that the Great Aetherium didn't have that kind of lineup. After Celestia, Haru was most likely the strongest one, and although he was stronger than any other peak High God, it didn't reach the Supreme God Tier.
One of Christine's subordinates, a Swan-kin with snow-white wings, couldn't hold himself back and asked, "Your Majesty, did Zylo and Tigranov actually get resurrected?"
Christine and the other Beast Gods looked at Haru, tension visible in their eyes. They wanted a clear answer. Although Haru hadn't planned to expose this now, it didn't matter. In a way, this was a positive outcome as through this, any of these Gods and Goddesses, who might want to resurrect a God, would come to him.
He nodded, "Yes, but now, they now belong to the Light faction."
The Swan-kin God sucked in a breath, "They really were resurrected…"
Gasps spread throughout the hall. Elunara and the Goddesses behind her, as well as Christine and her subordinates, were visibly stunned. If Haru had an easier way to resurrect fallen Gods, that could change the power balance entirely.
"Your Majesty." Elunara said quickly, "May I see them?"
"Of course." Haru replied, telepathically giving them an order and under their watching eyes, the two entered the hall.
"Zylo, Tigranov! It really is you!"
Several Beast Gods exclaimed at once. Zylo had shrunk from his usual several-hundred-meter tall Beamon form to a compact, golden-armored giant a little over ten meters tall, while Tigranov now appeared as a broad-shouldered Tiger-kin warrior, a few meters tall.
At the calls of his former comrades, Zylo gave them a brief smile, then bowed towards Christine, "Greetings, Your Majesty."
Christine kept staring at them. This was absolutely the same Zylo she knew, but something fundamental had changed. His aura of Beast Pantheon of Faith was gone, replaced by a powerful, Holy Light. His very essence was different now. The same was true for Tigranov as well.
When they came before Haru, both knelt on one knee, "Lord Almighty."
Haru nodded, then turned back to Elunara and the others, "This resurrection, technically it's reincarnation but whatever, the detailed method for it is a secret."
He said calmly, "I can't share that part, but what I can tell you is that after the process, they become my fanatic believers. That's an aspect I can't control."
"So… is this why Your Majesty refused to hand over Maddox's soul?" Elunara asked.
"Exactly." Haru replied with a small smile, "Once I resurrect him, he'll become my believer too. When that happens, even his sister Micteya won't be able to take him."
He paused, then added, still smiling, "Of course, if she insists on taking him back, I won't stop her."
Elunara frowned. She doubted Micteya would dare to bring back her brother, who had become one of Haru's fanatics. That would be inviting a spy into the heart of her own Pantheon. Moreover, she could imagine how angered she would be once she discovered her brother like that…
"If someone wants this kind of resurrection…" She asked, "…must they become Your Majesty's believer?"
"Yes." Haru said, "As I said, I can only resurrect my own believers."
Elunara's brows furrowed deeper, and the several Goddesses behind her wore the same expression.
Haru tilted his head, "Do you also want to resurrect someone, Lady Elunara?"
Elunara answered frankly, "In the Nature Pantheon, there was once another Supreme Goddess—the Aurora Goddess, an Intermediate stage Supreme Goddess. She held dominion over the Law of Aurora. During the Ancient War, she was killed by the First and Second Demon Monarchs of the Abyss."
"I asked Svetlana about it and to resurrect her, we would need at least eight Supreme Gods to work together."
She shook her head slightly and continued, "But that would never happen. Let alone the Evil Pantheon, neither the Titans nor the Dragon Pantheon would want Aurora to get resurrected. They'd never help us no matter what price I offer."
Haru went quiet for a moment. A Supreme Goddess, who once stood alongside Elunara and even sacrificed herself to save their Pantheon, no wonder people said that the Nature Pantheon and their allies were considered almost invincible in the Ancient Era, they had four Supreme Goddesses, after all!
