The Dawn of Integration:
Weeks after the destruction of the Dark Palace, a fragile, exhausted peace settled over the realms. The victory was total, but the cost was astronomical. The Light Realm, with help from human engineers and resources provided by the Mortal Alliance, began the long, difficult process of rebuilding.
The mood across the world was one of euphoria. Peace was declared. The realms, once strictly separated, began the process of integration. Light Embracers, in their shimmering white robes, were seen walking through the major cities of Earth—London, New York, Tokyo—signing trade and peace treaties with world leaders. Humans, in turn, were brought to the rebuilt Light Realm to marvel at the technology and the tranquility. It was the beginning of a true, inter-realm civilization.
The Shadow of the Conqueror:
Cristino, the hero who had ended the centuries-long war, was everywhere and nowhere. His face graced the front pages of every global news source, yet he remained isolated in a heavily guarded, medically-equipped chamber in the Light Realm.
The dark parasite, Aries' Dark Essence, was rapidly consuming his Light. The black, spider-web veins now covered half his face and crept down his arms. His FATHIUM suit, now kept constantly charging, often sputtered and failed, corrupted by the internal darkness.
Comm and Cemin desperately searched for a cure, pouring over ancient texts and consulting the few remaining High Embracers who remembered the war's origins. All they found were grim warnings: the Dark Essence, once fully bonded, would turn Cristino into a weapon far more dangerous than Aries ever was. The clock was ticking, and the celebration felt like a dance on the edge of a grave.
The Miserable Enemy:
Meanwhile, in the devastated Dark Realm, the mood was one of bitter, pathetic resignation. The Dark Embracers, now led by the cold, tactical Siren, were useless. Stripped of their base, their power source, and their glorious leader, they were now just a collection of disillusioned, miserable thugs.
Siren, clutching the stolen FATHIUM core (which was now weaker due to the palace's destruction), watched the Light Realm's burgeoning alliance with Earth with impotent rage.
"We have lost our purpose! We have lost our power!" one of her followers screamed, throwing his useless dark-blade into a pile of rubble.
Siren was calm, dangerously so. She knew raw power could no longer win. She needed strategy. She knew the Light Embracers would never completely annihilate them, constrained by the Almighty's law against total destruction.
The New Deal:
Siren made a chilling calculation: if they couldn't win the war, they would infiltrate the peace.
She used the remaining power of the corrupted FATHIUM core to send a chilling, formal communique to the Light Realm council.
"Aries is dead. The war is over. The Dark Embracers are willing to negotiate a formal, enduring peace and integration. We, too, wish to survive."
The High Embracers were divided. Some wanted to eliminate Siren while she was weak, citing the risk of her holding the FATHIUM core. Others, desperate for genuine peace and fearful of violating the Almighty's law again, argued for acceptance.
Comm, facing immense political pressure from Earth to stabilize the realms, reluctantly agreed to hear her proposal. He saw the risk, but the possibility of saving the world from the Dark Embracer threat forever was too great to ignore.
The FATHIUM's Warning:
In his confinement, Cristino felt a strange new power—not Aries' infection, but a surge of pure Light. It was his own FATHIUM, instinctively trying to warn him. He saw a brief, sharp vision: Siren, standing beside Comm, holding a knife.
He burst out of his chamber, ignoring the pain and the weakness.
"Siren is coming! She is not seeking peace, she's seeking opportunity!" Cristino cried, stumbling into the main hall. "She is a spy! She cannot be trusted!"
Cemin tried to calm him, mistaking the frantic warning for a symptom of the Dark Essence's control. "Cristino, you must rest. We have taken precautions. We will hear her out, but only under high security."
Cristino felt the utter frustration of the doomed prophet. The world was celebrating peace, ignoring the most fundamental truth: the greatest enemy is the one who wears a mask of compromise. He was content with the peace, but the FATHIUM inside him, even while fighting the darkness, screamed that the true battle was yet to come.
