ARIANA'S POV:
The Anderson are coming over tomorrow for dinner and I don't have anything planned in mind. I promised mum that I wouldn't come for the dinner but she insisted and now I'll have to find an excuse for me not to come home.
I grabbed my backpack from the back seat of the car and headed to class. During the first period, Mr Philips said he was going to group us for a project this week and mum wouldn't be able to refuse that but why hasn't the name been posted yet.
ANNABEL'S POV:
Sarah and I arrived at the cafeteria and sat down to eat once the food was served. Sarah was still busy talking about Jayden and the guys when a girl suddenly came running to our table whom I recognized as Ariana. What was she doing here? I thought she was mad at me.
"Hi Sarah!" Ariana said as she hurriedly dropped her bag and sat down.
"We didn't see you in class today? Did something come up?" Sarah asked once Ariana got comfortable.
"Well..." She suddenly paused, staring at me for a while before continuing.
"I confronted my mum about it." She sighed.
"And what was her response?" Sarah asked.
"She ignored me and to make matters worse, she's still stalking me." Ariana frowned.
"Geez, that tough!" Sarah hissed.
"I just need a place to stay before just for the night! I'll be gone by tomorrow." Ariana pleaded as Sarah could only sigh.
"I would have but my mum and I are traveling for my dad's memorial, so I can't... I'm really sorry!" Sarah apologized.
"It seems I'll just let her win and attend the family dinner with the Anderson's." She scoffed as I stopped eating and looked up to face the girls in front of me.
"I don't mind accommodating you, besides my mum has been nagging about bringing a mate home." I say as the girls turned to face me.
"Would you really do that?" Ariana asked, hope in her eyes.
What? I was actually expecting her to decline it after what happened the other day but it seems she must be really desperate and besides I could use this opportunity to bring her and Joshua closer even though it might cost my only friend.
"Yeah, it's no big deal!" I say with a smile as I shoved the salad down my mouth.
"Thanks!" She smiled back.
JOSHUA'S POV-
I was seating at my usual spot with Jayden, beside the swings when my sister came running towards us in quite a weird manner, her hair was packed up and covered up with a face cap, a handkerchief covering her mouth as she approached us.
She removed the face cap and lowered the handkerchief.
"What was so important that you called us out here?" Jayden asked impatiently.
"Hold on Mister, I'm here to help your mission and stop asking questions." Annabel glared at him before taking her seat on one of the swings.
"I've found a way for you to have a private time with Ariana." She said as my face suddenly lightened up.
"Really? How?" I asked immediately.
"Well it seems she needs a place to stay and well we've got a place so... she's staying with us tonight."
"Wait...you mean Ariana is coming over to our house?" I asked surprised and shocked at the same time.
"Yes, nobody knows we're related except from Mr Jayden so I'll be a shock for her to see you there." Annabel smiled happily.
"And what if your plan flops and you lose your new friends?" Jayden asked with a blank expression on his face.
"No it won't I've pictured everything out well. Ariana is going to come over and she would be surprised to find out Joshua is my brother and since she never mentioned him to me, I'll be equally surprised to know about Ariana and my brother." She explained as Jayden just nodded.
"It's okay, what matters is that she's coming over and what happens next, we'll take care of it." I say as I couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear.
...
It was finally closing, as students rushed out from their classrooms, heading to the gate. Ariana was busy waiting outside for her driver and when she sighted him. She walked over to him.
"Urm... Mum said I could skip tonight,I'm having a project with my classmates and I'll be back late so I'll stay with my friend, she has a spare room in her house." She explained.
"Does the Mistress know about this?" The driver asked politely.
"Look, she even sent a voice note but it's on view once so had already listened to it." Ariana chuckled to ease the tension.
"Oh then, I'll be on my way and if you need anything or you change your mind just give me a call."
"Sure." She smiled.
Once the driver had left, She headed to the other side of school where the VIP's packed. She saw Annabel waiting for her as she quickened her steps.
"You made it, I thought you changed your mind last minute." She chuckled.
"Nope, I didn't change my mind, I just had some work to finish...sorry for being late. "
"It's no big deal, I already told my mum you were coming over so she's making preparations." Annabel said as they got into the car.
"Really? There was no need to do all that."
"Driver, let's go!" Annabel said as the driver nodded and started the car.
As the car zoomed out of the school compound, a black SUV which was packed across the rode started moving behind them.
"Boss! Are you sure you want to go this?" The bodyguard asked, worried.
"Yes, how many times do u have to repeat myself I have to find out every information about her?" Evan yelled at him.
"I'm sorry Boss, it won't happen again!"
"Please drive faster we mustn't lose that car!" He orders as the bodyguard replied with a nod.
