Chapter 233 - Chapter 235: Was it you who did it?!

EeDechi smiled. She had guessed right after all. In E-Rantel, Ainz was holding back. E-Rantel was the city Ainz had built with his own hands, the Sorcerer Kingdom's first territory and its showcase city.

The Great Tomb of Nazarick did not dare use area-of-effect terror magic on EeDechi. If this had been in the past, Ainz would have already crushed the Hourglass and raised his hand to unleash Super-Tier Magic.

That was why Ainz and the others now preferred close-quarters combat, surrounding and hunting EeDechi down, rather than releasing their overwhelming magical power.

"EeDechi, I'm going to ask you one serious question, and you had better answer honestly!" Ainz did not attack. A terrifying aura erupted from him, his killing intent sharp and icy, like a demon god descending upon the world.

"Oh? What do you want to ask?" EeDechi sneered, already scanning the surrounding area for escape routes.

Ainz planted his staff in the ground, raised one hand, and pointed straight at EeDechi. His voice cracked like a whip.

"Narberal is pregnant. Was it you who did it?!"

"HUH???" EeDechi stared at him, utterly stunned.

She planted her sword in the ground and wondered if she had heard wrong. "What did you say? Can you repeat that?"

Ainz's tone was ice-cold, his fury blazing like wildfire. He spoke through gritted teeth, "Narberal is a maid in my service. I once traveled under the adventurer name Momon, and Narberal used the name Nabe. The two of us journeyed and adventured together in the outside world."

"We and your adventurer party once crossed paths at Moonstone Hollow, on the edge of the Eight Greed Kings Desert. I was tied up with Slane Theocracy business at the time and didn't kill you.

"I sent Narberal to track your group down. She lost the trail, but when she returned to the Great Tomb of Nazarick afterward, she was pregnant! Answer me honestly—was it you who did it?!"

"Me? Moonstone Hollow?" EeDechi thought for a moment, recalling the past events (Chapter 176), and the pieces suddenly clicked into place. "So adventurer Momon was you in disguise the whole time. No wonder your Justice Value was -500. I should have cut you down right then and there!"

"Cut the crap! Did you knock Narberal up?! Everyone in the Great Tomb of Nazarick thinks I'm the one who got her pregnant! I got cuckolded for absolutely no reason!"

Ainz gnashed his teeth in fury, his bones creaking loudly.

The last time, Narberal had been sent to track EeDechi, but she had failed to find her and had no choice but to return to the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

Yet somehow, she had started throwing up from morning sickness, and her belly had grown bigger day by day. When the doctors examined her, it turned out she was pregnant!

Narberal herself was completely dumbfounded. She had no idea how she could possibly be pregnant. After all, she had always kept herself pure and had never slept with anyone. She had stayed dutifully by Ainz's side the entire time, playing the role of adventurer alongside him.

As everyone knew, Ainz could never have gotten Nabe pregnant. After all, he didn't even have the parts for it—he was nothing but a skeleton. Yet in Narberal's own memory, she had never slept with anyone either. The only beings she had come into contact with on the road were humans, those lowly creatures.

Narberal had always looked down on humans as crude, disgusting insects, and she even had a habit of calling them that out loud. How could she possibly have done it with anyone?

So the father of the child in Narberal's belly became a complete mystery.

Still, most of the members of the Great Tomb of Nazarick believed Ainz had used some special method only the Supreme Overlord could manage to get Narberal pregnant. After all, the Supreme Overlord could do anything.

Albedo's reaction was exactly what you would expect. She burned with rage, her eyes turning red with fury, and she turned the entire Great Tomb of Nazarick upside down. If the other Guardians hadn't held her back, Albedo would have already ripped the pregnant Narberal to pieces with her bare hands!

Shalltear was just as stubborn about it, but in the end she was a little more reasonable and accepted that Ainz simply didn't have the means to knock Narberal up. Albedo, however, was furious beyond reason. She slammed the door behind her, led her own Supreme Subjugation Squad out of the tomb, and never came back.

Ainz felt completely helpless. He knew in his bones—perfectly, totally, and without any doubt—that he had done nothing at all to Narberal. Who the hell knew how she had gotten pregnant?

Ainz sent the ever-reasonable Sebas out to find Albedo and talk some sense into her. After that, Ainz started turning the whole mess over in his mind.

After thinking it through, the most likely culprit was EeDechi.

Narberal was level 63. Anyone who wanted to do anything improper to her would need to be far higher in level than that, and such people were extremely rare.

On top of that, EeDechi had always been decisive, bold, and wildly unrestrained in her ways. Ainz strongly suspected that EeDechi was a futanari—a big-dicked cute girl, the kind who could pull out something bigger than any man's!

EeDechi frowned and said, "I'm starting to think there's something seriously wrong with your head. Is your skull completely hollow in there, so you don't even have any brains left? Think about it. How could I possibly have gotten Narberal pregnant?"

EeDechi was just as dumbfounded by the sudden question Ainz had thrown at her. How the hell should I know?

"Stop playing dumb. I suspect you're a big-dicked futanari!" Ainz roared.

"Huh?" EeDechi looked even more confused. "Wait a second—what does 'futanari' mean? Is that some new gender or something? I'm one hundred percent female! And why are you adding 'big-dicked' in front of it?"

"Enough talk. Grab EeDechi and drag her back to the Great Tomb of Nazarick. We'll crack open her skull and find out the truth!" Shalltear appeared behind her in a flash, her voice cold and menacing.

Cocytus appeared at the same moment on the roof of a nearby building. His massive weight punched two gaping holes straight through the tiles, and the terrified residents inside screamed as they fled out into the street.

"Ainz-sama, I've discovered a new ability of the World Item [Super] Depiction of Nature and Society!" Aura shouted excitedly from the sky, gripping a massive scroll.

She hovered in mid-air, unfurled the scroll, and chanted in a low voice: "My domain is my sovereign territory—suppress and slay! The one named EeDechi!"

All at once, a crushing wave of power slammed down on EeDechi. Under the immense pressure her legs shattered the flagstones and sank deep into the earth.

It felt like ten thousand razor-sharp swords were stabbing into her body, one of them driving straight toward the bone at the back of her neck. Cold sweat poured down EeDechi; her skull throbbed with agony and her back nearly buckled.

A horrific pain clung to her like a blood leech latched onto her spine, sucking out her marrow. EeDechi gasped for air, sweat streaming down her face, forcing herself to stand tall and fighting desperately against the mental torment.

Ainz saw EeDechi bearing the weight of ten thousand tons of psychic pressure. He planted his staff on the ground and began chanting a single-target binding spell.

Behind EeDechi, Cocytus and Shalltear charged in, their Spuit Lance and great katana gleaming with icy, lethal light.

"Damn it!"

EeDechi fought through the bone-deep mental pain, slammed her feet down with explosive force, and dodged Cocytus and Shalltear's strikes while powering straight through Ainz's binding magic. Her body froze for a split second.

Then EeDechi leaped into the ruins of a nearby building, smashed straight through a clock tower, and used the thick cloud of dust and smoke as cover while she raced toward the center of the city.
