"I do, being a mage and doing missions inherently carries risk. Still we'll have you and between that, Natsu's firepower, and Lucy and I's versatility I think we can handle it." Erza stares me in the eye before nodding and the 'sharpness' of her gaze leaves.
"Very well, I suppose it will get Natsu to stop eyeing the 2nd floor so much."
"Thank's Erza…. by the way have you seen Alcremie anywhere?" The pokemon had been a big hit in the guild after she started producing her sweets but I hadn't seen her today.
"Al..al…AL!" Oh there she is, coming over with a whole Strawberry Shortcake and jumping up to place it on the table before Erza.
"Oh thank you Strawberry."
"Al!!" The Queen of the Fairies hugs the pokemon and the little thing returns the hug. I smirk at her and hold back a laugh.
"Strawberry huh?"

I laugh and leave the two of them be and look over the guild. Something to keep in mind is I have no real idea if I'm keeping to the timeline and I haven't really been thinking too hard about it, I can't control it so I can't let it weigh me down that much.
That means in this case we could arrive to find who knows what. I fully expect Leon to be there by now given what I can remember from the timeline but we could be a lot earlier and it's an ancient temple with who knows what sort of defenses. Still I know just who could help me out with that sort of thing.

"Oh Roxas whats up?" I smile as Levy looks up at me with a quizzical tilt to her head as I approach the table she and the rest of her team is sitting at.
"Erza's grabbing us an S-rank quest, its about a curse and I figured you'd be someone to ask to come along, I've heard about the island in passing and its supposedly has some ruins on it. Figured having a little genius like you along would make it go even more smoothly." Levy looks excited at my explanation but her friends start glaring at me.. right the simps of the show; right behind that perfume guy.
"Hey! What are you trying to do? Levy already has a team so shove off and stop trying to poach from Shadow Gear."
"Jet's right, and an S-rank quest?! Levy's great but that's too much." I blink as Jet and Droy get up in my face, barking at me in response. I see Levy narrowing her eyes at the actions of her friends while others in the guild turn our way.

"Remind me again, since when have teams been able to ban members from taking quests outside of the team." That gets them to stop and Levy answers for them.
"Never."
"Exactly, and Levy can make her own choices. Now I can respect being worried about you're teammate but she's more then capable of making her own decisions and taking care of herself. Now sit down and stop making asses out of yourselves." They do just that and Levy slaps them both upside the head.
"He's right, still what's the pay?"
"Seven million split six ways with you along for the ride, the main reason we're going for it is it's offering a Gold Key that Lucy can use." Cranking up the smile I lean over the table.
"If that's not enough I can toss in a date as well." I give her a wink, making sure she knows I'm joking and she laughs.
"You know what sure; this sounds like it will be interesting to say the least. I'll go get packed and meet up with you guys."
"Sweet, see Lupus on the way out. She'll put together some stuff that will keep and she'll try to make something you like."
"Even better and don't think I won't take you up on that date." A wink of my own is returned to me and she smiles at me. Hmm, once we get some breathing room dates with everyone for sure. They all deserve that and much more.
"We'll try to head out in a few hours or so, meet us at the western gate."
"See you there Roxas." And so with that in hand I go to pack up myself; leaving Levy behind to further tear strips from Jet and Droy.

"Right anyone have any luck?" All I get are a bunch of negatives in response.
Getting to Hargeon was easy and quick. Getting a boat… well if anything the anime really undersold just how much Galuna Island was feared, I had one old sailor who looked like he'd happily fistfight the devil break down crying at the mention of it.
"I had some luck at first but as soon as the word Galuna left my lips they fled." Erza laments while Levy nods.
"Same, the guys I was talking to brought out some old charms to start waving around as soon as I mentioned the island."
"The captain I was talking to wouldn't look above my neck until I asked about Galuna and then he couldn't get away fast enough." Lucy growls at the mention
"Oh well guess we're swimming … or maybe we could fly there?" I briefly consider Natsu's second idea, the former was never an option but shake my head.
"Technically we could do that but it's too risky. One unexpected storm or harsh gust and someone takes a fall into the ocean and I don't feel like finding out if the curse is affecting the waters as well… would explain some of the fears here." Gaster Blasters could help but like I said they aren't really meant for riding, works in a pinch but enough variables I'm not comfortable doing it.
"Master…" Lupusregina's voice reaches my ear and I follow her gaze towards Bobo in his human disguise as he approaches us. Hmm, Natsu didn't seem to smell anything off about him but I guess Lupusregina just knows what to look for.
"Sorry to intrude; names Bobo. Heard you're the folks asking about Galuna Island; what's your interest in it?" Erza steps forward, taking the lead as the S-Class mage in this situation.
"We're members of the Fairy Tail guild here to take the quest to break the curse, sadly no one in the area seem willing to give us passage to it."
"No surprise, no one really wants to get caught up in that mess. Luckily for you all I'm more then happy to get you all to the Galuna, now come along. We make could time we can get there before the moon rises." Bobo walks off without another word and our party shares looks.
"You guys think this is a good idea?" Lucy questions and I nod.
"One guy against all of us, we can handle it even if it's a trap but I don't think it is. He has a good vibe to him." I'm not even making it up, Bobo just feels like a nice guy and it shows even beyond the hints of urgency and worry you can feel from him.
"Roxas is right, besides we shouldn't look a gift horse to closely in the mouth." Erza agrees with me and thats the end of it. We all trust her judgement here and so we make our way to Bobo's boat.
It's a little cramped with so many, even with Lupusregina returning to familiar space for the time being but we all fit and Bobo shoves off. As we make our way to the island I let my shark trail behind us just in case anyone falls over.

It takes hours, Natsu groaning the whole time but as night falls we see the Island in our path. Levy takes the moment to try and get some more information.
"So Bobo, can you tell us anything about the Island or the curse? It would help narrow down how to break it if we knew the effects."
"Heh, I lived on that Island. Got lucky enough to escape, take a gander." bobo reveals his arm and my stomach clenches. >
It's not the arm itself, that's odd but in Fairy Tail not that weird after seeing Elfman do something similar enough times. No its the part where 'human' flesh meets demonic carapace. It's twisted and unnatural and gets my hackles raised.
"A transformation curse!? Are you okay? Have there been any ill effects?" Levy asks with a pale face.
"No, isn't the most comfortable but it's like I was born with it…"heh, clever "… but I'm looking at a lot less exposure then the others."
"So it builds up over time; how?" Levy's confusion reaches the others and I go for the opening Bobo gave us.
"Bobo … whats happening to the others on the Island… you said you were exposed less then the others. Any other side effects we should know about, every bit of information helps." His eyes meet mine and he must see something because he nods and keeps talking.
"Look you all seem nice enough and quite frankly I'm running out of options and time. I'm a demon, demonoid to be specific…." Which if I recall is a low-class demon that's pretty much human with extras and much less likely to go full on town-burning evil; Levy and Erza certainly don't freak out and Lucy only gasps but doesn't look scared.
"… and my people's memories are being twisted about. They think they're humans turning into demons, not demons having their magic forcibly activated in this manner. Our disguises are getting twisted around and some can barely take it."
"Having their bodies and magic contorted against their will, I imagine so. And they don't realize it at all?" Bobo shakes his head at Erza's remark.
"My dad stabbed me in the chest when I tried to bring it up. I've got the best magic control in the village, think thats why I kept my mind intact, and he thought me telling him the truth was a sign I lost my soul and became a demon which tells you just how far this curse has gone…. shit I got to leave." Wings spring from his back and he hovers in the air; looking behind us I can see the island getting closer as we sail forward.
"Look you can't mention this to any of them, they won't take it well and don't mention me. No telling how they'll take that. Good luck and thank you!" Levy cries out as he speeds off.
"Wait do you have any idea of the cause?"
"Just look in the sky when the moon rises!!" And with that Bobo is far away, leaving us to sail forward.

Thankfully we don't get tossed ashore by the wave and instead make it ashore in one piece and with Natsu and Lupusregina's senses finding the village is no trouble. This time they're actually waiting for us given the job was legitimately accepted and we meet the Moka, getting the run-down from his perspective.
"… and that is why you must destroy the moon!!!"
"I'm sorry what?"
"Oh hell yeah!! Let's blow it to pieces!!"
"I.. I'm sorry you want us to what?" Moka gestures towards the sky with his demonic hand and we all watch as the purple moon rises >
"Huh, that is something." If it wasn't causing these people so much trouble it be a beautiful sight; the screams of agony and fear make it one of horror instead.

"Right obviously this isn't the result of the moon." Lucy speaks up as we lay out some bedding in the house provided to us.
"Agreed, if it was we'd see cases of this all over and the color change. We saw it just fine a day ago."
"They don't smell any different when they transformed." Natsu speaks up and I look out at the purple tinted sky, Lupusregina and Albedo would be remaining in familiar space while the moon was out just in case.
"Levy you ever heard about anything like this." Levy looks up from a small pile of books she brought along.
"No and it makes no sense. Curses have limits, for the strength of the effects we're seeing they would need to be one or the other. Either their bodies shift or their memories get distorted and the environmental effects?! I've never heard about a curse that changes it so much."
"Well that's unfortunate, alright lets get some shut eye and investigate in the morning. I wish we could ask for more information from these people but if their minds are unreliable then there isn't much point." I nod, lying down on my bedding.
"Agreed, anything they tell us is liable to be twisted or outright wrong. We can check any writing or records they have but I'm not holding my breath, sounds like anything that challenges their new reality gets tossed aside." Because Bobo was the lucky one, a handful weren't so lucky and that thought brings a frown on everyones faces.
"Agreed, now lets get some shut eye." With that we all head to bed, Natsu snoring for a moment only to quiet down with a threat from Erza.

Fuck yeah, United We Stand might hog two slots but it lets me take the defensive prowess of Albedo for myself and that succubus could tank a lot even without her gear. Heck Resistant can only go even more wild and Fist Projection pairs well on top of that.
Our search goes pretty well, Levy is great at picking up trails in the ground that indicate ancient pathways that the woods have claimed overtime and that gets us heading in the right direction and Natsu and Lupus are able to pick up scents as we go that let everyone else know we can expect opposition. Erza and myself can cut through the brush well enough to get it out of the way so it isn't the hardest trip but I still wish it wasn't so hot.
"Alright everyone we need to take a break. Hydration is very important." >
Happy floats to the ground, his fur soaked and dripping as he touches down.
"Aye.." Even Natsu welcomes a chance to get under some shade and some water in her system. I look over at Levy who's pried up a small stone block from the ground where vines had snaked around it, a dangerous looking 'Cut' fading away as she did so.
"What you got there?" Levy looks up and then holds it out to show me.
"I'm not sure what it's from but it's proof of a civilization advanced enough for stonework like this. Maybe housing, or a wall of some kind. I don't think its for a road but it's worn down enough that I can't be certain." I nod and think back on the temple, ground around it might have been paved put the question would be how far would they have extended it.
"Weird, I've never even read about a possible group like that being in this area." Levy nods but waves off Lucy's remark.
"So many old cultures, ranging from tribes to kingdoms, were erased through war, demons, and freak magic accidents that we constantly find new things long forgotten."
"So with that in mind how likely is it this something being unsealed or something automatic that just kicked in?" Levy considers the question before holding up her hand and giving me the fifty/fifty remark.
"That.. that happens a lot more then we like to think about but I don't feel comfortable guessing."
"Meh, doesn't matter. The amount of people I've caught traces off, no way they don't have something to do with it." That gets a round of nods, even without my foreknowledge I'd be inclined to think that. Not even as a malicious group but a handful of idiots poking something they shouldn't.

I'm not surprised they noticed us coming. We weren't being subtle and I know they were watching the village but you figure they would make some effort hide themselves as they approached. Happy could easily spot them as the various cloaked goons came up, surrounding us but you could easily feel they weren't the strongest.
"Huh, you guys having a picnic?" Oh and the idiot is among them.
Erza is immediately on her feet and in her standard armor with a sword at the ready and the rest of us take up combat positions as well. I have Gaster Blasters up in the canopy ready to fire and none of them seem to notice.
"Are you the ones behind the purple moon and what is befalling the villagers?!"
"Oh Shit! They know we're the ones performing the ritual in the temple; get them!!" The rest of the them charge at Toby's command as he coats his nails in that powder of his and we meet their attack.

For a second I'm worried as the numbers are larger then I realized but that quickly goes away as they fall like wheat to a sickle. These are just a bunch of randoms, brought together by shared hatred and stupidity; I feel for them of course but they want to unleash a demon they think is alive and know is capable of wiping out villages with ease.
Levy and Lucy aren't pushovers even in this early stage of the timeline but they are far from combat-oriented and they plow through the ones that try to gang up on them. Natsu isn't even phased, flaming fists sending them flying while Erza is beating them senseless with the flat of her blade.
"I've got you now, face the awesome power of my Parayl!! GAHH!!" I have a Gaster Blaster slam downward and drive him into the dirt while the others start picking off the ones that are standing in the rear with ranged weapons and magic. I note that Natsu has started a fire, something we'll have to take care of before moving on.
"AHHH!!!" The feminine screech catches us all off guard and from the section Natsu's flames had set ablaze comes a figure running. >
"AHH!!" She stops, drops, and rolls in the clearing we're in and Levy creates 'Water' above her to help douse the flames. I step on over and when she looks up smile down at her with three Gaster Blasters behind me with open jaws and charging shots.
"Now then, would you like to surrender or do we need to give you the same treatment as your friends."
"ANGELICA!" Sherry's response is to shriek and the giant rat, slightly singed and smoking, lunges forward from the forest. Trees shattering in it's path, earth being shot back as it tears up the ground in its charge. It lunges at me, claws out and read to tear into me.
"You think filthy vermin such as you can touch my master?" Albedo responds cooly as she stops the attack with her bare hand, appearing in the blink of an eye. Her palm not even scratched as she glares at the giant rodent. Sherry looking on in shock as Albedo rears her hand back and slaps the side of the massive creature.
"BEGONE FILTH!!"
"RAHHH!!!" Angelica cries out as she's sent flying into the forest from the blow, I turn my attention back to Sherry who stumbles back from me and hold her hands up in surrender.
"I give up now."
Looking at the the members of Lyon's little cult tied up in small bunchs I nod as I'm satisfied with my knots and turn to Erza whose interrogating Sherry, covered in a blanket and nothing else. The other redhead keeps her mouth shut on real identities but Erza drags out the Sub-Zero Emperor out of her and the fact they're in a abandoned temple up ahead.
"Right then, we should move forward then. I propose we stick together and upon arrival split into groups of two in order to cover more ground and look after one another."

With a proper direction I'm able to fly us ahead, especially now that we aren't having to search the ground for clues. Leaving Lupusregina behind to watch over the captive mages we race ahead, splitting into three groups when we arrive upon the site.
Lucy and Erza, Happy and Natsu, and Levy and myself; each group taking one entrance and making our way inside the structure.
"I.. I can't believe this." Levy remarks as she takes in the stone carvings on our path. I can tell a bunch of it is actual runes but other then that nothing.
"What is it Levy?"
"This temple, it's some kind of magic collector. I think it's pulling it from the moon's natural fields. I can't tell what it does with that but .. magic like this has never been considered elsewhere because of how slow it would be, from what I'm seeing you'd have to do something nightly to keep it going or risk complete collapse."
"Dang, right lets find this Sub-Zero Emperor and put an end to this. I don't trust anything that a group that's terrorizing some innocents puts this much effort into." Levy nods and we start making our way inside.

Levy is a godsend for traversing this ruin as her knowledge not only lets her have a rough understanding of the writing on the walls but also means she knows a lot about the construction methods of the time period.
"Man Levy I'm really glad we brought you along. I don't think the rest of us would have had a clue what to do." Levy waves off my statement with an embarrassed air.
"Oh I'm certain you guys could handle it between the four of you. You're all so strong. I honestly can't believe you and Lucy are just starting out sometimes."
"Hey we might be good in a fight but this… knowing all this knowledge about such old and forgotten cultures and magic and being able to put it to use, that's a talent I know I don't have." Levy blushed under the praise and then froze as a 'click' rang throughout the room and I register and then the floor beneath us fell away.
"AHHH!!!!!" Our screams rang out as we plunged down the hole that opened up.
The thing about a sudden fall, it rips away your reaction. The feeling of the floor leaving, the sudden plunge, you don't really get to think about anything except 'oh shit' as you fall down. which is why we were over half way down when I reacted and grabbed Levy close and formed a Gaster Blaster underneath us.
"T..thank you. Levy clutches on to me tighter and I nod, shaken myself. We land on the ground and those thoughts leave as we taken in the glistening iceberg with the monster trapped inside.
'Hello Ur.'
"What is that?" Levy murmurs aloud as we gaze up at the structure. I grimace at it, unable to hide the discomfort seeing it causes me as I look at the first real demon of Zeraf we're shown.
"Think thats Deliora, matches a picture I was shown once. Heard it destroyed a lot up in Brago but it was said to have been killed." Not even drawing on meta-knowledge, things like Deliora are hell on trade routes so people like my parents keep track of such events. Deliora's sealing brought a lot of opportunities for new trade.
"That's correct although it's not dead, not yet." A voice calling out from behind us grabs our attention and we turn to find Lyon walking towards us, helmet in hand. >
"So I suppose you two are part of the ones mucking up my plans. Ruining years of work that were put in to grant us our dream and see my life's ambition met." You can see the frost in the air around him as he speaks and the stance he begins to take.
"Ambition, whatever you're doing here is hurting the villagers and you're messing with a demon of Zeref. What could possibly be worth that?!" Levy cries out in anger.
"Levy's right, this thing was said to be unstoppable. If it's really not dead then why set it free from the ice?"
"That is Iced Shell, a sealing technique that turns it's user into the very ice that holds it's target. My former mentor Ur was the one to create it. You're from Fairy Tail correct?" We nod and Lyon scoffs.
"Then you know Gray, the idiot that got my master killed running off thinking he could kill Deliora. Ur had to run in and save his life, giving hers in trade. He took away the woman that raised us and now I can never surpass her, not without doing the one thing she couldn't and finishing the job. That was the whole point of this. Years spent getting this beast here and performing the Moon Drip Ritual to break the Iced Shell." The sheer stupidity of this plan.
"So your teacher, no your mother from the sounds of it, gives her life for you and you repay her by undoing all her work. Letting the demon she sealed away loose to kill again."
"No, I will defeat it. I will surpass her and put this monster in the ground for real. My followers will have peace from that and I will surpass Ur, you all have interrupted us mere days ahead of schedule but no matter. You'll be a warm up for whats to come. Know you fall to Lyon Vastia, the true disciple of Ur Milkovich."

"ICE MAKE: EGALE!" With one hand pointed towards us Lyon sends forth a dozen or so creations which I meet with Gaster Blasters, the beams shattering the birds and giving me an opening to rush forward. Lyon meets me and ducks around my swings while throwing a hand towards Levy.
"ICE MAKE: APE!!" The ice primate doesn't even get close as Levy counters with her own magic.
"Solid Script: Blade!" The beast falls in two as I catch Lyon in the ribs with the flat of my blade and lash out with Fist Projection as he stumbles back. He takes the blow and glares before shooting out two lions that we easily dispatch as well.
"Are you seriously thinking this is what will let you slay a demon of Zeref?"
"Damn it, fine I clearly can't treat you all as a mere warm-up. You deserve me at my strongest. This is the strength that will end Deliora." I can feel the change as the cold he's producing kicks up a notch.

"ICE: MAKE DRAGON!! ICE MAKE: GIANT!" A massive dragon of Ice bursts into existence and charges at us with a giant humanoid with a club follows behind it. Swapping Fist Projection for Heat Object I see the change in my Gaster Blaster as their beams become less energy and more flames.
"Solid Script: Hole!" The word Hole appears before the giant and one leg sinks into the ground, stopping its advance and making it a sitting duck for my Gaster Blasters to melt it into a slurry. That doesn't stop the dragon from lunging at me but that's not an issue. It came in a straight line and so when it's right in front of me I let my Thwomp come down from the ceiling where it floated in wait.
"UGGGH!!" The dragon shatters under the blow and I dismiss the familiar to take in Lyon looking shocked. He gets it back together quickly but I'm on him before that can happen and slamming my fist into his nose and having him fall back on the ground. He raises a hand to launch another attack but I point my sword at him in response.
"So.. still think you can take on Deliora now?" Lyons gaze is filled with anger and hate.
"IC-- GHHAA!!!" I don't let him finish the spell as two beams slam into him and force him down into a newly created hole.

I blink as the perfect ability appears before me for this moment. The energy required for what I wanted to do was probably immense so having another option makes this much more feasible.
"Hey, Levy. Would you agree it sounds like Ur became the ice itself?"
"Thats what Lyon said, why?" Because I need to figure out the best way to not look as crazy as Lyon right now.
"Its just it sounds like it didn't kill her if thats the case. It.. it would fit the Law of Price in that case because otherwise this ice wouldn't survive." Levy blinks and then turns to stare at the Ice in horror.
The Law of Price was a simple thing, the more powerful the magic the more it would cost. Mostly that meant magical power but Iced Shell was a perfect example of how esoteric it could get. Ur gave her life and her afterlife and in exchange she created a prison that could never melt and never break unless you got something like the Moon Drip to work.
"N..no that can't be. Tha..that's a hunk of ice, a monument to Ur's failure." Lyon chokes out from behind us but I ignore him and walk forward, resting a hand against Ur's final work. It's not cold like Ice usually is, it's not warm but it doesn't leach away at the heat of my hand. I grin as the perfect moment hits me.
"Hey Levy, have you ever heard of a creature that survived for nearly a decade without any sort of energy intake." For a moment Levy just thinks about it but lets outa gasp as she gets what I'm saying. I start swapping out abilities, my new one and United We Stand swapping in
"Sorry Lyon, but you'll never surpass your Master this way. She killed this thing already, possibly years ago."
"W..what!" I don't answer, calling out Albedo instead.
"Master?"
"I'll be borrowing your strength Albedo."
"Of course, take whatever you desire from me my Master." Albedo swoons, yes swoons, as her stats flow into me.
"Alright, lets see if this works."

"Rewind!" I cry out as I push the ability to the max, hand on the 'brake' and read to slam on it at a moments notice. Around us water flows back into the ice and it starts building itself back up.
"That.. that's impossible!"
"Hate to break it to you Lyon but this ability only works on living things. I can't touch the soul, the mind, or energy either." A choked gasp echos behind me but I turn all my attention back onto the Iced Shell as it stops growing, taking up nearly the entire cavern.
This is the dangerous part, I'm going to have to stop very quickly after the ice just vanishes. Not immediately because then she's lost a leg and could possibly bleed out but it can't be more then an hour or so before that. Don't want to go any further because she's had enough of her life stolen.
I can feel it when the stockpile starts to get empty and so I put Energy Regeneration to use. Thankfully I have a ton of stamina nowadays but I can feel the loss and it's not like it's a one to one ratio. Despite the worries though it's enough.
One second the ice is there and the next all that's left is Ur laying on the ground. I keep going for a couple more seconds, watching her stump suddenly has a mangled hunk of meat and bone attached to it and then that reverts to a normal leg and thats where I slam on the brakes. Holy shit Ur's even more of a badass then I thought she was. Above me the corpse of Deliora collapses into dust and I look down at the woman that made it possible. >

"Roxas!" Levy catches me as I stumble but I'm already starting to get my feet back up under me.
"I.. I'm okay Levy. Albedo please go get the others will you."
"Of course." Albedo flies off and I take a moment to breath. Not in great shape but still capable of moving at least.
"Right Levy I'm good, could you go check on Lyon and make sure I didn't give him something serious." Levy looks me over in concern but doesn't protest as I sit myself besides Ur and take a breather I blink as a rumbling sound fills the chamber and then a wall of stone forms between me and Levy.
"ROXAS!!" Oh shit I did not think about this. I barely react in time to avoid the projectile that tries to take my head off and craters the newly formed wall, said crater disappearing in a second.
"You brought her back… I'm not sure to thank you for giving me the chance to do this myself or kill you. I suppose I could do both." I put several Gaster Blasters between Ultear and Ur but her orb smashes them to pieces. >
"I was hoping the ice would melt and you'd be gone but this is better. I'm only sorry I can't do this in front of my replacements mother." I call the Thwomp down and with a gesture of her hands she stops it in the air.
"Ah.. is.. is that you Ultear." Despite everything Ur is somehow awake; clearly weak and somewhat out of it but awake. Ur gives her a broken grin even as her orb bounces around forcing me to dodge or destroying my Blasters.
"You can recognize me Mother. Isn't that a surprise; I figured you purged me from your memories to make room for those replacements.
"I.. I'm so happy to see you." That gets a reaction from her as she twitches and her orbs stops for a second.
"What.. you.. you can't be serious." I don't make any move to attack, waiting to see what happens first and seeing if this goes as well as it did in canon down the line.
"I.. missed you so much Ultear. I..I'm sorry there was nothing I could do, I'm sorry you died so young." Oh Ur thinks she's dead, guess this hasn't caught up with her yet.
"What are you saying!? You didn't … you threw me away!!"
"Why.. why do you think that? I could never have thrown you away, you're my daughter." Even as weak as she is the conviction in her voice in undeniable. You could no more deny the love Ur felt for Ultear then you could deny the sun existed.
"N..no you.. you didn't .. you can't." Ultear drops to her knees and I dismiss the Thwomp before it finishes it's descent down on top of her.
"U..ultear are you alright! Wh..whats wron…" That's all she can say as her strength runs out and she fades into unconscious leaving me and her crying daughter alone. >
I think I'll let her work it out before saying anything.

"Hey… are you feeling better." Her tears had stopped but Ultear was still sitting in the same spot, hunched over and staring at her mother.
"I… I spent years hating her, thinking she threw me away and replaced me. I.. I devoted everything to hating her and that …" She trails off and I scoot a little closet, keeping enough distance to not push at her too hard.
"Well, you have time now right. Time to fix things and get to know one another." A broken laugh echos from her at my statement and she shakes her head.
"I… I have some ties I can't just break right now, people that wouldn't take me leaving well and those that would use her as leverage. Plus theres one man I need to see ruined now." Magical power leaks around Ultear at that statement and for the briefest moment I feel pity for Brain, then remember all the shit he's done and think 'fuck that guy'.
"So what do you plan to do then; I seriously doubt that Ur will let you go a second time." Ultear stares at me.
"Why do you care, I just tried to kill you?"
"Oh I remember that but honestly I'm willing to let that slide since you seem pretty upset right now over what sounds like very valid reasons. Please don't try again though."
"Hehe, you Fairy Tail mages truly are crazy." Ultear holds out a hand and a scroll and pen appear in her hand; the pen starting to write on its own as she faces me.
"I'll leave her a letter, explaining why I can't come to her right now. It.. it might take a while but once I take care of something I'll come see her and we can … talk. I suppose you'll take her to Fairy Tail?"
"It sounds like Gray will want to see her at least, after that will be up to her really."
"Then consider this a quest, keep an eye on her for me. I know she can take care of herself but … " Her eyes pin me where I stand as she gets up and stares me down and a chill goes down my spine.
"I get it, don't worry I'll do what I can. I mean she's a grown woman but I'll see what I can do." Ultear nods and then pass me the scroll before leaning forward and pressing her lips to my cheek. >
"Thank you, now I need to be off. Keep this quiet as well for now, I don't need details spreading." With that Ultear is off, a passageway forming in the wall before her and closing behind her leaving me alone with Ur. Picking her up I prepare to find a way out of here only for the wall to start to lower down revealing the rest of the team with a badly beaten Yuka there as well. >
"Right, can someone toss me something for Ur here?"

After covering Ur with Lyon's cloak we start getting everyone rounded up and over to the village. Getting Ur and the others back to the village isn't that hard, we make Angelica carry a lot of them and all are pliant now that Deliora is dead. Everyone that sees Ur's unconscious form looks at her in awe and that helps cut anyone's desire to cause trouble.
Once we arrive back we put Ur in our quarters and begin given a report to the villagers about what was going on in the temple as well as why it was causing what it did, avoiding mentioning their true nature for the moment.
Levy is better able to explain the situation then anyone of us, having taken the time to look over the heart of the ritual center and figured out the byproduct situation but the Chief still wants the moon destroyed even as we explain the situation.
"Right, Natsu you're going to help me take care of this. Roxas do you feel up to using more of your Blasters?" I nod at Erza's question and form two of them.
"Not a barrage but I can handle a couple."
"Good, take care of any large pieces then. Requip!" Erza glows and soon stands there in her Giant's Armor. >
A spear appears in her hand and she takes a throwing stance, readying to throw the spear. Lucy looks on in awe from her position guarding the prisoners alongside Lupus and Albedo as she throws it into the air and Natsu jumps after it, giving it a second shot with an Iron Fist to send the spear rocketing into the sky. It slams into the 'moon' and cries of joy ring out as cracks begin to form.
Shock soon follows as the dome of residue shatters revealing the white moon. I start firing at a couple of the larger chunks, using Heat Object to enhance the beams with flames and eradicate the larger segments. Natsu joining in to take out other pieces with his Roar.
"Wha..what!!" You can see as the memories start to right themselves as the residue burns away. I take great joy in watching as the results of their actions settle with every member of Lyon's little cult as they watch people have breakdowns.
"HAHAHA!!! IT WORKED!!!" Bobo all but crashes into the center of the village, looking up at the purple mist in the sky with awe.
"Bo..Bobo?" The chief chokes out with tears in his eyes as his son takes up its true form.
"Yeah its me Pops, I'm really here." For a second nothing is said and then the crowd of Demonoids cry out in cheer as they rush their lost heir.

"Here is your reward, thank you again for all that you've done." The chief hands over a sack of money and a golden key which Lucy grabs with glee before whirling around and begins hugging us all in excitement.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Lucy cries out as she pulls back and starts looking over the key in wonder. I clock the design and blink in surprise. >
"Who is that Lucy?"
"It's Libra, The Heavenly Scales." I nod and register the difference. Not a huge thing but still something to consider. I nod and listen in on Erza's talk with the chief.
"Lamia Scale should send some people for their runaway members and they'll see to it that punishments are doled out." The chief nods and we turn to where the rest stay. Lyon looking like he wants to start something as I hold Ur's (now clothed) form. She's still unconscious and he has wanted to see her and talk to her but we weren't waiting around for that.

"Alright everyone gather up and put a hand on me, want to put something new to the test." I get some looks but everyone does so and and I pop in Fast Travel and think of the guild. There's no place like home, there's no place like home and with a pop we vanish from reality.

"WHAT THE HELL!!" The heat rises up as Natsu's flames soar.
"How could this happen?" The butterfly affect is how; I know we're ahead of this so we shouldn't be seeing this but there it is. >
I think I'll let Albedo and Lupusregina off their leashes a bit when the time comes.
