Inside a room within the Universe Airship, the members of the Leyan Family gathered in a quiet circle.
Before them, sixteen crystal balls, each about the size of a human head, were arranged neatly in a straight line. Their surfaces were clear and flawless, faintly glowing as something stirred within.
Trapped inside were the nascent souls of the fifteen Nascent Soul Realm cultivators, along with the soul of the Soul Formation Realm leader who had blocked their path earlier.
After their physical bodies were obliterated in that high-speed collision with the airship, Alita had acted instantly, capturing their escaping souls and sealing them within these Soul Prison Crystals.
The crystals were spiritual artifacts specifically designed to imprison soul-like entities while completely suppressing their power. Since they belonged to Alita, the souls inside had no means of escape, no matter how hard they struggled.
Compared to these, the artifact Sawi had once created to contain Fantylia's nascent soul felt crude. Back then, she had still been inexperienced in artifact crafting, and the difference was obvious. These crystals were far more refined, their clarity allowing every trapped soul to be seen in full detail, like insects frozen in amber.
While everyone else was curious about the souls, Sawi was more interested in the Soul Prison Crystals.
At first, Sawi had been the most reluctant among Leyvi's wives to join the trip. She much preferred staying at home, immersing herself in formations and inventions.
However, after mastering the visualization technique, her progress stepped into a new realm. She could now design and arrange formations on her own. So far, she had already learned a few simple ones and even managed to operate a fully functioning formation successfully.
In other words, Sawi had officially stepped into the ranks of a Formation Master. The requirement sounded deceptively simple, just successfully running a complete formation, but in reality, that single step had stopped countless aspiring formation masters in their tracks for years.
After Leyvi returned, he handed her two things. One was Bellion's treasured Bellionic Table. The other was a detailed record of every formation he had ever worked on, including both his original creations and known formations that he had modified and improved.
The moment Sawi saw them, she froze.
For a brief second, she genuinely thought she had been given the core inheritance of some top-tier formation sect. There was no other way to describe it. The Bellionic Table alone far surpassed anything she had inherited from her ancestor. Lines that once felt tangled and incomprehensible now seemed to straighten themselves under her gaze. Concepts that had taken her weeks to ponder began to click into place one after another.
It was not just helpful. It was transformative.
With this, she knew her progress would no longer be slow and uncertain. It would surge forward.
She was so overjoyed with the gifts Leyvi had brought her that she voluntarily began wearing outfits that highlighted her figure and sexy lingerie whenever it was her turn to be with him, instead of the baggy clothes she always wore. Although she knew Leyvi did not care whether she looked pretty or not, she also knew that all men appreciated it when their wives dolled up for them.
This was also the reason she had not wanted to go on this trip. She would rather have stayed home to study formations.
But the moment she stepped into the Universe Airship, that preference dissolved almost instantly.
Everything inside felt… unreal.
The structure, the systems, the seamless integration of formations and unknown technologies, it was as if the airship itself was a living formation far beyond anything she had ever imagined. Every corridor hinted at complexity. Every room seemed to hold layers of design she could not yet fully grasp.
Curiosity took over instantly.
The more she explored, the more questions surfaced, each one leading to another. Before long, she found herself spending most of her time beside Alita, asking, observing, learning.
Alita, for her part, did not show the slightest impatience. She answered each question calmly, explaining what she could, guiding where necessary. To her, this was not just casual teaching. If something ever happened in the future, it would be valuable for someone within the Leyan Family to understand how to operate and maintain the airship.
And Sawi, standing at the edge of a much larger world than she had ever known, absorbed everything she could, her mind already racing ahead to what she might one day create.
"Is this what Nascent Souls look like? But why is this one different?" Hana asked, leaning closer to the crystal with clear curiosity.
The others shared the same confusion. Most of them had never seen a Nascent Soul before. In fact, very few people have ever had the chance to witness one directly.
They did have Fantylia at home, whose nascent soul had been captured and sealed, but the crystal used was opaque. They could never see what it actually looked like. This was their first proper look.
Inside the crystals, the nascent souls appeared like faint wisps, shifting and flickering softly. In contrast, the soul of the Soul Formation Realm cultivator looked far more defined, almost like a miniature version of himself, complete in shape and detail.
Alita's projection appeared beside them and answered calmly, "That one is a complete soul. When a cultivator reaches the Soul Formation Realm, they can choose the form of their soul. It becomes their identity blueprint, and from that point onward, their soul will always retain that appearance."
The ladies exchanged surprised glances as they processed this.
Hana blinked, then asked without much hesitation, "Does that mean I can choose to make my soul have a bigger chest in the future?"
It was not something she worried about anymore. Ever since marrying Leyvi, she had long stopped pestering Anda about enhancement pills. Still, the question slipped out naturally, like an old habit refusing to fade.
Alita nodded. "Yes, you can. However, the breakthrough process will become more difficult. When shaping the soul, it is recommended to keep it as close to your original appearance as possible. Doing so makes the process much more stable."
"But… would it affect the physical body?" Hana asked, her voice carrying a mix of curiosity and anticipation.
Alita nodded, a faint smile forming on her face. "It would. There is a reason why many women put far more effort than men into reaching this realm. Your physical body will gradually change to match the form of your soul. That is why it is called an identity blueprint."
For a moment, the room fell quiet.
Then the ladies' eyes lit up all at once, sparkling with excitement. The idea settled into their minds almost instantly, and before long, their thoughts began to wander. One could almost see the images forming behind their eyes, each imagining a more refined, more dazzling version of themselves.
The motivation came just as quickly. Cultivation, which had always been important, suddenly felt a little more… urgent.
Alita let out a soft chuckle at their reactions. "This is also why you rarely see unattractive cultivators at higher realms, especially among women. Many take the opportunity to refine their appearance, or at least improve what they were born with. For some, it is a chance to completely change themselves. Of course, the further you deviate from your original form, the more difficult the process becomes."
The topic immediately took root. Questions followed questions, and before long, the ladies were deep in discussion, comparing ideas and asking Alita for more details.
Meanwhile, Leyvi stood there, quietly watching.
He had originally planned to interrogate the captured souls and extract information from them. Instead, the entire room had shifted into a discussion about beauty and future transformations.
He considered interrupting, perhaps reminding them that such matters were still far off, given their current cultivation levels. But seeing their enthusiasm, he chose not to.
Nearly an hour passed before the conversation finally began to wind down.
The moment an opening appeared, Leyvi stepped forward.
"Alita, I want information from him. Can you interrogate him?"
Alita shook her head. "I can't. These crystal balls don't have that function."
"Hmm… so how do we get information from them? …Alita, let me try talking to them first," Leyvi said after a brief moment of thought.
Alita nodded and lifted a layer of restriction on one of the crystals, allowing the soul inside to communicate.
The reaction came immediately.
The Soul Formation Realm leader burst into furious shouting, his voice filled with arrogance and venom. He hurled threats and curses without pause, demanding to be released while warning that his Young Master would make the entire Leyan Family pay for what they had done.
Not a single useful piece of information came out.
Anda's expression darkened almost instantly. Without hesitation, she summoned a fire and burned the soul directly. The leader's voice turned into a sharp, agonized scream as the flames scorched his essence. She did not go too far, stopping once the pain had clearly taken hold.
Leyvi tried again, calmly asking about their identity and who had sent them.
The result was the same. More curses. More threats.
Anda did not even wait this time. The fire returned, stronger than before, wrapping around the soul as she pressed him for answers. Despite the pain, the man remained stubborn, refusing to say anything meaningful as he continued to spit insults between his screams.
After a while, it became clear that this method would not work. Even under torture, he showed no sign of breaking.
Alita quietly reinstated the restriction, sealing the soul once more and restoring silence to the room.
For a moment, no one spoke.
Then Alita said, "We can use a Soul Searching technique. Instead of forcing him to speak, you can directly access his memories."
Leyvi turned to her. "Is it safe?"
"Your spiritual sense is incredibly strong. And they are being suppressed by the Soul Prison Crystals. It will be safe." Alita reassured him.
Leyvi nodded slowly. He did not hesitate for long. "Alright. I'll do it."
He had no intention of letting this matter go. Whoever was behind this had already made a move against them once. If he did nothing, there would be a second time.
"Then learn this first," Alita said. "This technique will minimize the damage to his soul during the process, so his memories remain intact. It will also help you protect your own spiritual sense."
As her voice faded, a jade slip appeared in front of him, and he took it. The technique was called Memory Hunter.
