"That was exhausting."
Belphegor had barely left when Sai dropped the act entirely, letting his body fall flat against the floor as if all the energy had been drained out of him.
"Good job behaving like a normal person," Katarina said, stepping over him without a second glance.
"That makes it sound like I'm not a normal person," Sai complained from the ground, but as usual, she ignored him completely.
Instead, her gaze shifted upward toward the ceiling. A large hole stared back at her—the result of Sai launching himself through it earlier. She let out a quiet sigh.
"What am I going to do about this hole?"
She really didn't feel like using any energy right now, but leaving it open wasn't an option either. Sleeping while staring directly at the sky didn't appeal to her in the slightest.
'Thinking about it… does the devil realm even have stars?'
The thought lingered for a moment. She briefly considered flying up to check for herself, but ultimately decided against it.
