Hello everyone, I am **SnowPlanet(雪谷惑星)**!
It has been four years since I started writing in 2022, and I have finally finished [Republic of Tanosi Pastures - Vol. 01].
Actually, back in mid-2023, I had already written a massive pile of setting drafts and various plot fragments—accumulating over 200,000 words. Yet, I could never seem to complete the first volume. At the time, I lacked writing experience; I relied solely on a surge of passion, writing desperately until I eventually hit a wall. (That is the price of having no outline and no master plan.)
Around Chapter 15, I looked back at what I had written. The logic was inconsistent, the pacing was strange, the plot dragged, the world-building wouldn't expand, and there were too few characters. To sum it up... it was boring. I felt immense pressure. I wanted to revise it but didn't know how; I didn't even dare to try, fearing I would ruin my own "masterpiece."
It was then that I found a job—at a very busy supermarket. I thought I could work and write simultaneously, like those legendary authors. As it turned out, I underestimated my own laziness. After work or on holidays, I just wanted to slump on my bed and scroll through my phone; I had zero desire to pick up the pen. Over time, I stopped updating, and the fans I had gathered eventually drifted away.
I spent several years in a daze until the end of 2025, when I finally resigned. I didn't know what I had been doing all that time, nor did I understand the meaning of clinging to that job. The string inside me snapped. Back in my rented room, I finally mustered the courage to put a full stop to the mess of the past.
So, I redesigned the outline and made a general plan. I overhauled the content of Volume 1—setting up the "Golden Three Chapters," streamlining dialogue, adding more secondary characters, and creating clashes between character values. It was essentially like rewriting the entire novel from scratch. I even used AI tools like Gemini to help review the text and translate it into Japanese and English to upload to sites like Shousetsuka ni Narou, Kakuyomu, WebNovel, and Honeyfeed. I did everything I could.
*(Note: My FB, IG, X, and Threads have AI concept art for this work. Interested readers can search for them.)*
In my original vision, this work will span ten volumes, divided into the **Founding Arc**, **Operation Arc**, and **Final Battle Arc**. The Founding Arc (the first three volumes) is a phase titled **[End-Times: Birth of Gods and Demons Sea]**, telling the story of the eve of the nation's birth:
* **Vol. 1: "The Silver-Haired Evil God"** — Theme: [Plunder], Sub-theme: [Exploration].
* **Vol. 2: "The White-Scaled Princess"** — Theme: [First Love], Sub-theme: [Deception].
* **Vol. 3: "The Golden Immortal of the End"** — Theme: [Acceptance] and [Reconciliation].
To be honest, I don't know if I should keep writing. Whether on Chinese, Japanese, or English sites, the view counts are quite poor. While I've suspected that Gemini's translations might be subpar, if I think about it deeply, perhaps I simply lack talent. After all, I can't even manage to update daily—how can I talk about being a professional writer? So, I decided to abandon grand fantasies and focus on the writing at hand, at least finishing the first volume.
Now, *Republic of Tanosi Pastures 01: The Silver-Haired Evil God* is officially complete. I don't know how readers will judge it, but I feel it's quite good; at least, I've achieved the silhouette of what a novel should be. As for whether I will continue in the future, I cannot make any promises.
That's all. Thank you for staying until the very end. May we meet again if fate allows!
