Chapter 628 - MD-Chapter 625 The Great Battle (Continued)

A deafening roar erupted!

Yet the blow missed Thanos. In the blink of an eye, Thanos had already circled behind Abomination, his double-edged sword slashing horizontally in a waist-splitting arc!

Abomination lunged forward, narrowly dodging the fatal strike.

Thanos's weapon was forged from an unknown metal, capable of shattering even Steve's shield. Arthur dared not let Abomination take such a blow head-on.

Raising his double-edged sword, Thanos stepped forward to pursue Abomination. But just as he lifted one foot, he slammed it back down heavily.

He glanced at his foot, then turned to glare at Arthur.

Two streaks of fire shot toward him. He instinctively closed his eyes, and in the next instant, his hand went empty.

Thanos sighed deeply, waved away the flames, and looked up at Quicksilver. "Is it really necessary to keep playing this game?"

"I think it's absolutely necessary," Arthur interjected. In that split second, it hadn't been Quicksilver who had taken Thanos's weapon.

He gazed at the double-edged sword in his hand, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Disassemble Thanos's Libra Sword (Pink)?

"Disassemble!"

The double-edged sword vanished from Arthur's hand. Thanos tilted his head, studying Arthur. "Where did it go?"

"You can try to find it," Arthur replied with a smile.

"No need," Thanos said, shaking his head. "At least, not until I've killed you!!!"

With two swift strides, Thanos abandoned all other opponents and lunged straight for Arthur.

He had finally realized that as long as Arthur remained alive, the battle would never end.

A savage punch tore through the air, causing a visible distortion in the space around them. The full force of his blow crashed down on Arthur in an instant.

A blinding light enveloped them!

An energy circle erupted outward, but even as it expanded, Thanos's fist had already pierced through Arthur's skull.

Yet within the shattered brain, there was no flesh or bone—only pure light!

Pure white light!

Stunned, Thanos whirled around to find a dozen Arthurs had materialized around him, seemingly out of nowhere.

The light erupted!

The sound was barely audible, like a bubblegum popping, but the immense power instantly devoured everything around them!

Quicksilver reacted swiftly, teleporting away the moment the light burst forth and locating Arthur's figure. Hulk had already charged into another battlefield.

Quicksilver's gaze locked onto the blinding white light.

Through the glare, a massive, bald purple figure strode forth, chest puffed out. Even his clothes remained remarkably intact.

He thumped his chest. "If this is all you've got..."

"Well, looks like I have no choice," Arthur chuckled. "Looks like I'll have to go all out today!"

After completely dismantling a Dragon-Shaped Warship, Tony contacted J.A.R.V.I.S. through the comm channel: "What's the current situation?"

"Situation under control with an 82% success rate. Final cleanup phase imminent," Jarvis' voice replied.

Tony asked again, "What about the Instructor?"

"Based on projections, you should encounter him shortly."

"Huh?" As Tony paused in confusion, a violent explosion suddenly erupted nearby.

Though Tony's body was floating in mid-air, he felt an immense propulsive force slam into him, sending him hurtling nearly ten kilometers away!

Yet in the vacuum of space, this distance didn't obstruct his vision. The contents of the blast zone were dragged into view, revealing two figures!

One was Arthur, cloaked in black robes, gloved and masked, looking like a cinematic supervillain come to life.

The other figure was completely bald and purple-skinned, with multiple chins stacked vertically. His unremarkable attire resembled that of an old farmer who had lived in seclusion for many years.

Yet these two clashed repeatedly across the Cosmos.

Each collision released a tremendous force, nearly shattering the fabric of space itself.

"This isn't a human war, damn it!" Tony muttered, his brow furrowed. "Instructor, should I join the battle?"

"No need!" Arthur's voice came, slightly breathless, as if he were panting. "I haven't had this much fun in ages."

Arthur's exhilaration was beyond Tony's comprehension.

Ever since crossing over to this world, Tony had known he would inevitably face this cosmic behemoth—the being that made the universe tremble.

So he had relentlessly striven to prepare.

Disassembling, reinforcing, upgrading—constantly pushing his power to new heights.

To oppose him, Arthur had even hollowed out the moon!

He had gathered all the superheroes, established a genuine superhero headquarters, and become their spiritual leader!

He had prepared countless combat machines and collected five Infinity Gems!

All to face the man standing before him now!

Now that the moment had arrived, all his accumulated power erupted. In this instant, Arthur felt an unparalleled exhilaration.

Years of thoughts, hopes, longings, and pursuits—all of them exploded in this single moment.

BOOM!!!!!!!!

Cracks suddenly ripped through the Cosmos. After the collision, Thanos' feet scraped against the Warship's hull, sending him sliding backward for kilometers.

When he looked up again, he saw the man with black feathered wings plummeting from the sky once more!

Like a bird swooping from the sky, the man hadn't even landed when a massive two-handed sword materialized in his grip. The moment the blade descended, Thanos lunged forward, the sword slashing down with fiery light and crackling with electrical arcs. In an instant, the razor-sharp blade severed an entire section of the flagship, causing the colossal vessel to disintegrate abruptly mid-air.

Witnessing this spectacle, Tony couldn't help but ask, "J.A.R.V.I.S, if I intervene in their battle, what's the best-case scenario for increasing Instructor's chances of victory?"

"Fifty percent!" Jarvis's voice replied instantly. "However, Instructor seems determined to resolve this alone."

"What's his current probability of success?"

"Sixty-five percent!"

"...So, if I assist him, it'll be one hundred percent!" Tony declared. "Then why am I stuck here watching from the sidelines? I need your help!"

"Understood, sir. In three seconds, aim for Thanos's hands. Deploy binding weaponry!"

By the time J.A.R.V.I.S. finished speaking, the three seconds had already elapsed.

Without hesitation, Tony fired a binding weapon. In the next instant, Thanos's hands were completely entangled.

The device Tony fired was composed of a radiant, glowing mass. Thanos's hands were locked in place, and he couldn't break free for the moment.

Meanwhile, Arthur had already reached Thanos's side.

He showed no displeasure at Tony's preemptive strike, simply raising his sword...

As the blade fell once more, Thanos's head and arms were severed, becoming drifting debris in the Cosmos.
