The danger in the rainforest is not particularly high; there are no poisonous snakes or ferocious beasts in this area. Even so, many dangers lurk beneath the surface. Li Yeqi guides Yanling through the mountainous terrain, rushing towards their destination based on the coordinates in hand.
Yanling had a fever last night and woke up sweating. As soon as he opened his eyes this morning, he saw Li Yeqi swiftly take down three enemy soldiers. The shock was overwhelming. After traveling for a while, he started to feel the strain.
Noticing Yanling's pale complexion, Li Yeqi found a relatively concealed spot to stop, handing him a water pouch, "Have some water to quench your thirst and eat some dry rations before we continue."
Yanling glanced around. All was eerily quiet; the wind rustling through the leaves, rain pouring steadily down on them. Fortunately, they were wearing raincoats, so they weren't completely drenched.
