Drey's POV:
His eyes dilated, I guess the EBS was taking effect. He collapsed on the floor staring into space.
" Could he be the Don?". Max spoke first.
" I don't think so". Jade answered.
" If not,then who's this?". I wondered.
We all turned to look at Kyle, only he would know best who this man is.
" I'm not telling you shit". He spat.
" I think we are forgetting something here". Jade said.
Max and I looked lost.
" This mystery man is currently under the effect of the EBS,we can always ask him everything we want to know". He smirked.
Dumb me, I forgot totally.
" But it's only for 20mins,now 16mins". He said after taking a look at his wrist watch.
" Let's get on with it then. We should ask a worthy question,alright?".
" Yeah. What should we ask?".
" What's your name?". Max asked him.
"Pascal". He answered curtly.
" What sort of silly question is that?". I hissed.
" Who's Pascal?".
Let's think of how best to construct a reasonable question that'd give us all the answers we were looking for.
" Hmm, tell us about the Don,?". Jade suggested.
" That's lame". Max countered.
" Make up one then".
"Why are you after Xandra? Sounds better than,tell us about Don,no? He might not even know about Don".
" That sounds reasonable, but,what about... ". I turned to face the man, Pascal.
" Tell us in details everything that happened and your role in it all".
" As expected of a smartass like you". Jade said with amazement dripping in his voice while Max just hissed.
" Ahhhhh, Ashley, I'm sorry I couldn't take revenge properly".
He then went on to tell us everything, and when I say everything, I mean every single thing there is to know about the grudge between him and Xandra. And worst of all, Xandra was already awake by then and we were all amazed and speechless.
Xandra just kept weeping in the corner she was sitting. I was boiling really,that she had to go through all that just because of a mistake someone she couldn't even be said to be related to made in the past. She didn't even give birth to her,she doesn't count as her offspring.
And from what I know, Xandra has more than 90% compatibility with me, which confirmed her as my sister. She's my sister and my sister alone,not related to some crazy woman I'm not even interested in.
He came back to his senses soon after he finished talking. I was expecting him to struggle to leave or maybe beg us or even threaten us but he did something completely unexpected.
Immediately he came back to his senses,he dashed for the wall, and hit his head hard,blood splattered everywhere and he fell on his back. I was horrified.
Xandra screamed and fainted for the upteenth that day.
While Max and I were too shocked to move, Jade went to him to help him control the bleeding with his shirt but he wouldn't let him. He couldn't even talk properly anymore,his words were all slurred.
" I, I don't wa...nt to take re...venge any...more, I'm tir...ed. I'm sor...ry I could not keep my pro...mise, I'm too tir...ed to con...ti...nue,see you soon Ash...ley". He smiled as he took his last breath, just like that.
I hated him, really,but at that moment, I found him pitiful. He was really pitiful, having to live with all that hatred all this while. It's good that he finally found rest.
My eyes were moist watching his dead body on the floor.
" Hey, you murderer,how can you die so easily after killing my father?". Kyle was already crazy at that moment,he had to be held down by my guys.
" What should we do next next now?". Max asked with a sigh.
" We should get Xandra to the hospital as soon as possible, I already called the ambulance,they should be here anytime. Let's also clean this mess up. Kyle is mentally unstable at the moment, I'll take him back with me to the lab".
He barely finished talking when we heard the sirens,the ambulance must be here already. We carried her to ambulance and Max went with the ambulance while Jade and I stayed behind.
" I don't think he has any family to give him a proper burial. What do you say to having him buried properly?". I asked Jade.
" It would be a pity to leave him like this, let's do it". We took the body and put him in the trunk of the car.
We also took Kyle with us,only after tying him though, he's too aggressive at the moment to be let loose.

After everything, Jade visited Xandra at the hospital, (I couldn't because I still haven't told her I'm alive) and he said she didn't seem as bad as we'd expected, I guess that's a good thing. He also told her about Kyle. (His mind deteriorated so much that it was no longer different from a 10 year old's. Infact,he no longer answers to Kyle,he thinks his name is Alex).
He said she was weeping so much when he talked about Kyle but Jade said it's normal, I hope so.
She also demanded he let her take care of Kyle but I wouldn't have any of it.
(What if he suddenly recovered and hurt her?). I can't bear to think of it.
" But, although Kyle might be my enemy, Alex is my friend and he currently needs my help,how can I leave him by himself. I won't,if you won't let me take care of him then I would feel guilty and I can't guarantee what I'd do out of guilt". Jade said that's what she said.
"I had to agree".
" Are you stupid? She was just saying that, she wouldn't really do anything,she loves Nelson and the baby too much to even consider harming herself". I ranted.
" Do you think I don't know that? But I also think that she has a point. From the last test I carried out on him, I don't think he'll regain his senses anytime soon. We'll just take care of everything else fast and come back to her, that way, we'd be there even if something happens".
" I can't win against you,can I?". I sighed.
PS: it seemed she didn't remember much from that day,she didn't question seeing Drey or anything. I don't think she even remember seeing him.
