"Could you please make it a little darker? Please!!"
Stevie asked, even though it wasn't particularly bright to begin with. The room was only dimly lit, so it should have been fine, but for Stevie it still seemed too bright.
I dimmed the light a little, but she said,
"A little more, just a little more darker, please."
"Huh? If I make it that dark, I won't be able to see anything. I won't be able to see you, Stevie."
"That's fine. It's better if you can't see."
"Why?"

When I tried to pull the blanket off, she gripped the edge tightly and resisted so it wouldn't be taken.
