Chapter 1 - UnnamedChapter 1: The Night Juliet Gabriel Died,

CHAPTER 1

THE NIGHT JULIET GABRIEL DIED

Rain poured heavily over the Gabriel mansion.

Juliet Gabriel stood by the window, staring at her phone with trembling hands.

A photograph was on the screen.

Clement Adrian, her fiancé.

And Victoria Rose, her best friend.

They were together.

Juliet's heart sank.

Then she saw the bank documents. Millions had been transferred from her family's accounts, and her signature appeared on them.

"No… I didn't do this."

She immediately called Clement, but he didn't answer.

Juliet grabbed her keys.

She needed the truth.

---

An hour later, she arrived at Clement's private house.

The lights were on.

She entered quietly.

"Clement?"

Voices came from upstairs.

"Do you think she knows?" Victoria asked.

Clement replied, "She knows enough."

Juliet froze.

She slowly climbed the stairs and opened the door.

Clement and Victoria were standing together.

Juliet stared at them in disbelief.

"Tell me this isn't true."

Neither answered.

Tears filled her eyes.

"Clement, you said you loved me."

He looked at her coldly.

"I loved what you could give me."

Juliet felt her heart break.

She turned to Victoria.

"You were my best friend."

Victoria smiled bitterly.

"You had everything, Juliet. Your family's money, your beautiful home, your perfect life. I wanted it all."

Juliet shook her head.

"I would have shared everything with you."

"I didn't want your pity."

Clement stepped forward.

"Give me the property documents."

Juliet stared at him.

"You betrayed me for money?"

"For everything," he replied.

She backed away.

"You'll never get them."

Then she ran.

---

Juliet reached the front door, but a black vehicle blocked her escape.

Three men stepped out.

She turned.

Clement and Victoria stood behind her.

Juliet's face went pale.

"This was a trap."

Clement said nothing.

Juliet secretly touched her phone.

"I already uploaded the evidence. If I die tonight, everyone will know what you did."

Clement's expression changed.

"Give me the phone."

"No."

Juliet ran.

A loud sound echoed through the storm.

She fell to the ground.

Rain poured over her face.

Clement walked toward her.

Juliet looked up at him.

"Why?"

He stared down at her.

"Because you trusted the wrong people."

Her eyes slowly closed.

And Juliet Gabriel died that night.

---

THREE YEARS EARLIER

Juliet suddenly opened her eyes.

She gasped and touched her chest.

No wound.

No blood.

She jumped out of bed and looked into the mirror.

Her younger face stared back at her.

She looked at the calendar.

Three years before her death.

Juliet's eyes widened.

"I've been given another chance."

Tears filled her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away.

A cold smile appeared on her lips.

"This time, Clement…"

She stared at her reflection.

"…Victoria…"

Her eyes hardened.

"You will regret ever betraying me."

TO BE CONTINUED…

CHAPTER TWO

THE SECOND CHANCE

Juliet opened her eyes.

She gasped.

The first thing she felt was the warmth of sunlight against her face.

No blood.

No pain.

No cold marble floor beneath her body.

She slowly sat up, breathing heavily.

"Where am I?"

Her eyes moved around the room.

The familiar pink curtains.

The old wooden wardrobe.

The small mirror beside her bed.

Juliet froze.

She knew this room.

It was her bedroom.

But that was impossible.

She had died.

She remembered Clement's voice.

She remembered her best friend standing beside him.

She remembered the betrayal.

And most of all, she remembered the knife.

Juliet rushed toward the mirror.

The young woman staring back at her was not the woman who had died.

She was younger.

Her skin was flawless.

Her eyes were bright.

She touched her face with trembling fingers.

"I'm alive…"

Then suddenly, a memory struck her.

A date.

Five years before her death.

The day everything had begun.

The day Clement Adrian first entered her life.

Juliet's breathing became slow.

A bitter smile appeared on her lips.

"So God gave me another chance."

Her tears disappeared.

The frightened Juliet from her previous life was gone.

This time, she knew the truth.

She knew who would betray her.

She knew who wanted her money.

She knew who would eventually kill her.

And she would not make the same mistakes twice.

Juliet looked into the mirror.

"I won't love blindly again."

Her voice was quiet.

"But I will make every one of you pay for what you did to me."

Just then, her phone rang.

Juliet looked at the screen.

Clement Adrian.

Her heart stopped for a moment.

The man she once loved.

The man who would eventually destroy her.

The phone continued ringing.

Juliet stared at his name.

Then she smiled.

"Let's see how this story ends this time."

She answered.

"Hello, Clement."

His familiar voice came through.

"Juliet, I've been waiting for you."

Juliet closed her eyes.

She remembered everything.

This time, she wasn't going to be his victim.

She was going to be his worst nightmare.

CHAPTER THREE

THE MAN WHO BETRAYED HER

"Juliet, are you there?"

Clement's voice pulled her back to reality.

Juliet tightened her grip on the phone.

In her previous life, hearing his voice had made her heart race.

Now, it only reminded her of the knife.

"Yes," she replied calmly. "I'm here."

"I want to see you," Clement said. "Can we meet tomorrow?"

Juliet smiled faintly.

"Of course."

After ending the call, she placed the phone on the bed.

Tomorrow.

The word echoed in her mind.

Tomorrow, she would see the man she once believed was the love of her life.

But this time, she knew his true face.

The next afternoon, Juliet arrived at the café where they had first met years ago.

Clement was already waiting.

When he saw her, he stood and smiled.

"Juliet."

For a second, Juliet simply stared at him.

He looked exactly the same.

The handsome smile.

The gentle voice.

The eyes that had once convinced her that she was safe.

She remembered how she had trusted him with everything.

Her heart.

Her secrets.

Her family.

Even her money.

And in the end, he had taken everything.

Including her life.

"Are you okay?" Clement asked.

Juliet quickly smiled.

"I'm fine."

He pulled out a chair for her.

"I've missed you."

Juliet sat down.

In her previous life, those words would have melted her heart.

Now she knew they were only words.

She looked at him carefully.

"Clement, do you believe people can change?"

He laughed softly.

"Of course. Why are you asking?"

"No reason."

Juliet lowered her eyes.

Inside, she was already planning.

She would not confront him.

She would not expose what she knew.

Not yet.

She wanted Clement to believe that Juliet was still the innocent girl he could manipulate.

Let him become comfortable.

Let him reveal his plans.

And when the right moment came, she would take everything he once stole from her.

Clement reached across the table and held her hand.

"I promise I'll never hurt you."

Juliet looked at their hands.

A cold smile formed on her lips.

You already did.

She gently squeezed his hand.

"I believe you."

Clement smiled.

He had no idea that the woman sitting across from him was no longer the Juliet he once knew.

She had returned from death.

And this time, she was prepared.

Across the café, someone was watching them.

A tall man in a black suit.

His eyes remained fixed on Juliet.

His name was Alex Charles.

And unlike Clement, Alex had no idea that Juliet was carrying the secrets of another lifetime.

But soon, their paths would cross.

And when they did, Juliet's carefully planned revenge would begin to change in ways she never expected.

CHAPTER FOUR

THE STRANGER IN BLACK

Juliet stepped out of the café.

The afternoon sun was beginning to fade, but her mind was still trapped in the past.

Clement had smiled at her exactly the way he used to.

He had spoken sweetly.

He had acted innocent.

But Juliet knew better.

She was halfway to her car when she heard a voice behind her.

"Excuse me."

Juliet turned.

The tall man from inside the café stood a few steps away.

Black suit.

Calm expression.

Sharp eyes.

It was the same man who had been watching her.

"Do I know you?" Juliet asked.

"No."

His answer was simple.

Juliet raised an eyebrow.

"Then why were you watching me?"

The man smiled slightly.

"I wasn't watching you."

"You were."

For the first time, his expression changed.

"You're very observant."

"And you're very suspicious."

He chuckled.

"My name is Alex Charles."

Juliet studied him carefully.

"Juliet Gabriel."

"I know."

She immediately became cautious.

"How do you know my name?"

Alex reached into his jacket and pulled out a business card.

"I know your family. Your father and I have worked together before."

Juliet stared at the card.

ALEX CHARLES — CHARLES GROUP

Something about him felt different.

He wasn't looking at her the way Clement did.

There was no fake sweetness in his eyes.

Just curiosity.

"Why did you approach me?" she asked.

Alex hesitated.

"I wanted to warn you."

Juliet's expression hardened.

"About what?"

"Be careful who you trust."

Her heart skipped.

For a moment, she wondered if he knew.

Could he somehow know about her past life?

Impossible.

Alex continued.

"Not everyone who smiles at you wants you to succeed."

Juliet looked away.

Those words sounded painfully familiar.

"Thank you for the warning," she said.

She turned to leave.

"Juliet."

She stopped.

Alex looked at her seriously.

"Don't let anyone convince you that you're powerless."

Juliet said nothing.

She entered her car and drove away.

But Alex's words followed her.

That night, Juliet stood beside her bedroom window.

She looked at the city lights below.

In her previous life, she had trusted everyone.

This time, she would trust no one easily.

Not Clement.

Not her former best friend.

Not even Alex.

Her phone suddenly rang.

It was Clement.

Juliet stared at the screen before answering.

"Hello?"

"Juliet, I have something important to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I want you to meet someone."

Juliet's eyes narrowed.

"Who?"

"My friend."

A strange feeling settled in her chest.

She knew this moment.

In her previous life, this was how Clement had slowly introduced people into her world.

People who later helped him destroy her.

Juliet smiled coldly.

"Of course. I'll meet them."

She ended the call.

Then she whispered to herself,

"This time, Clement, I'm going to learn every secret you have before you learn mine."

Outside her window, thunder rumbled.

Juliet's eyes hardened.

Her second life had begun.

And so had her revenge.
