The first to react was the President from the Three Nations.
"Who are you? Why are you interrupting us?" he pointed at Rise and shouted, "Where are those dumbasses? Why can someone enter this place uninvited?"
They were already in a life and death crisis and had no time to quibble with some lunatic. Judging by Rise's grin, he was there to block them.
Everyone instantly assumed that he was on the side of whoever was trying to refine their world. None of them had an impression of Rise before, except for those parts of his camp.
Zarilan and the others' expressions sank. Somehow, they could already guess what was happening and Rise's involvement in all of this.
This suspicion instantly came true; their hearts dropped.
"Why did you all stop?" Rise glanced at Zarilan and the group. The grin on his face faded. "No one shall leave this place before everything is settled. You know what to do."
