Chapter 100 - Chapter 101: The Magical Stardew Valley

The end of the war allowed all of Konoha to immerse itself in the warmth of peace.

The various sacrificial celebrations of the Land of Fire's Autumn Harvest Festival were especially loved by the children.

The major clans of Konoha held different autumn harvest and autumn outing activities according to their different customs and traditions.

The Hyuga Clan's firefly fireworks display, the Ino–Shika–Chō trio's great forest hunting festival, and the Sarutobi Clan's autumn sightseeing mountain climbing competition all attracted many Konoha villagers to participate.

The children of the Uchiha Clan also welcomed their favorite autumn activity.

However, this year was a bit special. The Uchiha Clan decided to let the children take a trip to Stardew Valley, wanting them to have a ranch study tour where they could interact and learn with the thousands of orphans who had just joined the clan this year.

In the Land of Wind and the Land of Rain, the Uchiha had taken in over a thousand war orphans. With the Uchiha's careful cultivation of these children, the orphans already had a basic sense of identification with the Uchiha Clan.

But they were young after all, and most of them lived permanently in Stardew Valley. In this small farm town hanging outside of Konoha, they had very little contact with the members of the Uchiha Clan.

In order to let these affiliated clan members and the Uchiha children form deeper bonds, Uchiha Fucheng had planned this activity early on.

The selected children were mainly UchihaNinja Academy students aged 5–12 and young elites cultivated within the clan.

They could invite their classmates and friends to join this study tour.

And since Fucheng had raided Danzo's nest, he was very generous with money, directly waiving all food, lodging, and study tour expenses for the children.

This generosity from the Uchiha made many Ninja Academy students from other Ninja clans scramble to sign up, all wanting to participate in this autumn study tour.

In fact, this also reflected that the sense of identification with the Uchiha was slowly accumulating in many clans.

The children of Stardew Valley farm were also meticulously preparing for the Autumn Harvest Festival. Yahiko, who liked lively things, heard about the study tour activity and volunteered for the task of "volunteer."

Nagato followed by Yahiko's side, still appearing a bit unconfident.

"I heard there are sports meets and competition events. Do you think those Uchiha Clan children will have learned more than us?"

Yahiko was full of ambition, possessing the same carefree temperament as Naruto.

Yahiko waved his hand and said, "Impossible. We even have private tutoring from Teacher Jiraiya. We are very strong."

"I think I can definitely win the Ninjutsu championship. When the time comes, Nagato, you take second place, and let them see the strength of our Stardew Valley."

Konan covered her mouth and chuckled, "Our ages are considered old among them. I guess it won't be a purely competitive match, otherwise, how could those little kids as young as four or five compare to us?"

"That's true." Nagato, standing on the hillside, scratched his head embarrassedly.

Konan saw Nagato suddenly reveal a surprised expression and asked curiously, "What did you see?"

Because he had activated the Rinnegan, Nagato's visual range far exceeded that of Konan and Yahiko.

Nagato's curiosity and frowning just now were because he had discovered the "study tour team" on the distant hills.

"People from Konoha have arrived. Let's go greet them first!" Nagato pulled Yahiko and pointed to the distance.

"Everyone! I am the volunteer tour guide for Stardew Valley. My name is Yahiko."

"I am Konan, and I am Nagato!"

"Please follow us and enter the [Stardew Valley] Uchiha Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Demonstration Base. This demonstration base covers an area of 16,208—"

Nagato led the way in front, and Konan's gentle voice sounded as she explained various information about Stardew Valley in detail to the teenagers of the Konoha study tour group.

Yahiko was exceptionally social. He chatted enthusiastically with the leading Uchiha Ninjas and handed over the pre-prepared accommodation lists, dining arrangements, and study tour plans to the other party.

In addition to the many KonohaNinja Academy teenagers, among the leading Ninjas this time were the three "Genin" of Mikoto's team.

Although Uchiha Hezi had become a Mangekyo-level combatant, during this secret-keeping hiding stage, Hezi firmly stuck to her pitiful Genin status.

She even withdrew the Chunin application she had previously submitted to the village.

Seeing Hezi keeping such a low profile, Hatake Shoichi and Yakushi Nono also restrained themselves and peacefully went about doing Genin missions.

Looking at the sunny and cheerful Yahiko, Hezi suddenly remembered some memories of Amegakure.

When she participated in the Great War of Amegakure before, she had seen this boy. She had also met Konan and Nagato at the Uchiha frontline hospital.

It was just unexpected that in such a short time, Yahiko had grown from a dirty, skinny boy into a sunny and handsome young man.

Konan had also turned into a poised and beautiful young woman.

Hezi asked with a smile, "It's still early for lunch. Are there any sightseeing activities scheduled for the morning? I heard from some friends before that Stardew Valley has a giant panda."

Yahiko nodded, "That's right. Lord Fucheng's summoning beast, the giant panda, lives on the back mountain. However, Panda Bao has a very bad temper. We can only go see him tomorrow morning when he eats bamboo shoots."

"After I arrange the accommodation, Teacher Uchiha Yingji will lead everyone to visit the exotic beast breeding base first."

Hezi was still guessing what this exotic beast was when the uniquely designed metal gate of Stardew Valley appeared in front of everyone.

"This is the [Small Trial Gate], built by Lord Fucheng himself. It is said that Lord Fucheng will also build a more powerful [Complete Version · Trial Gate] in the Uchiha Compound." Konan introduced proudly to the crowd, pointing to the metallic gate and speaking eloquently.

"This gate is made of multiple overlapping metal doors, from the smallest two doors to the heaviest two doors, corresponding to weights from 500 jin to fifteen tons, respectively."

"As long as you have passed the first stage of Taijutsu training, we can come and test our own strength level to see if we can open the 500~1000 jin ones."

After listening to Konan's explanation, everyone was astonished.

"This gate is amazing!"

"Can a Jonin push open the heaviest two doors?"

"I really want to try it too. My family's Taijutsu heritage is very powerful."

The children were chattering, while the leading Ninjas were a bit worried that their own strength was too small and would make a fool of themselves in front of the children.

So for the first period, no one dared to try.

Only the carefree Hezi pulled up her sleeves and happily approached.

"Hahaha, this is good. Can I try it first?"

Uchiha Yingji and the others who were waiting for everyone in front of the gate smiled and made a gesture of invitation.

Hezi pushed forward with both hands with force, choosing the four-ton weight of three overlapping doors.

Creak~

The gate trembled slightly, making a slight friction sound.

Seeing the gate tremble slightly but not move, Hezi could only giggle and stop.

This gate could not be pushed open by Hezi's physical strength alone.

But if she added the assistance of Chakra, Hezi was worried about exposing her currently massive amount of Chakra, so she simply waved at Yakushi Nono.

Nono had a small round face and small round glasses; her cute appearance was very deceptive.

Just when everyone thought this cute girl wouldn't be able to open the gate either, Nono's bandaged left hand exerted force first.

The gate, weighing several tons, was pushed open by more than half by this girl along with a series of creaking sounds.

Immediately after, a precisely controlled Chakra blended into her arms, and Nono very steadily pushed open the complete third heavy gate.

Uchiha Inabi in the crowd clapped excitedly, "That's awesome!"

"Sister Nono is so amazing!"

The Ninja Academy classmates next to them also praised her one after another.

"Senior Nono is a Genin who just graduated this year. She is from the grade above me. I didn't expect her strength to be so great." The children looked excitedly at Yakushi Nono, shouting that they wanted to try it too.

Just like that, in front of the gate of Stardew Valley, a group of study tour children had a lot of fun just pushing the gate for a long time.

In the end, it was Uchiha Yingji who wanted to take a group photo for everyone that made this group of children quiet down.

"Everyone, please come over to receive your tour badges according to the three groups from before departure. Later, use the badges to check in and receive special feed for feeding the magical animals."

This kind of badge contained a small amount of den den mushi shell components and would emit slight bio-electromagnetism. As long as the children were still near Stardew Valley, these children could be located at any time through a positioning device.

It was considered a simplified version of a Ninja World GPS locator.

These were also several "high-tech" products independently developed by the Uchiha Clan.

Having just witnessed the [Trial Gate], the children were even more curious about this magical Stardew Valley!

One by one, they obediently wore the badges and followed behind Uchiha Yingji to visit the exotic beast breeding area.

Uchiha Yingji continued to explain, "The area in front is the breeding area for den den mushi. Although they look like snails or slugs, their name is den den mushi, and they are a completely different species from snails."

"When you see them, be careful not to shout loudly. These den den mushi are very sensitive to sound and are very likely to imitate others speaking."

Not to mention this group of children, even the adult leading Ninjas in the team opened their eyes wide in surprise.

In the breeding area ahead, which was divided into square grids, the den den mushi, which were much larger than snails, were leisurely gnawing on fruits and vegetables.

The most amazing thing was that these "giant snails" would use their large eyes and flexible mouths to imitate the expressions of visitors. It seemed that imitating others speaking and making different expressions was an indispensable learning content in their growth.

"So strange, this den den mushi." The chubby Akimichi Yuandong muttered while eating potato chips.

Taking advantage of others not paying attention, he shared a piece of potato chip with the den den mushi and pursed his lips, signaling to the den den mushi.

"Eat it, eat it, it's delicious."

A blue den den mushi facing him immediately squeezed its eyes small, then imitated Akimichi Yuandong's expression and started smacking its lips.

The most interesting thing was that the den den mushi also imitated Akimichi Yuandong's voice and repeated that sentence.

"So strange, this little fatty."

A group of children were bent over with laughter by the imitation of the den den mushi.

As Yahiko, Nagato, Konan, and others demonstrated to everyone, everyone received fruit and vegetable feed for the den den mushi and carefully fed these small den den mushi, which were less than 15 centimeters long.

The adult Ninjas, however, looked at the den den mushi with great excitement. They knew that once this magical animal capable of long-distance communication became popularized, Ninja Hawk messaging, fast horse messaging, and personnel messaging would all be gradually eliminated.

Even the currently very popular letter mailing would face the possibility of being replaced by telephones.

The leading Uchiha Bailian asked Uchiha Yingji in a low voice, "Brother Yingji, is the production of these den den mushi high? How is their growth rate?"

"The output is good, and the hatching speed is relatively fast. The first batch of den den mushi should mature on a large scale within 2 months. This magical animal should be able to be popularized in the clan very soon."

Uchiha Yingji said affirmatively. This good news undoubtedly made more leading Ninjas overjoyed.

"Everyone, after you finish feeding the fruits and vegetables, we will head to the next breeding area. I believe you have all heard of the UchihaNinja Cat Paradise."

"In Stardew Valley, we also have a Ninja Cat milk tea shop. Everyone will experience it in a while."

The Ninja Cat milk tea shop that Yingji mentioned was a breeding project between the Ninja Cat Clan and the Uchiha.

Ninja Cats have strong breeding capabilities; it is very common for them to have seven or eight kittens in one litter, but adult Ninja Cats cannot raise so many offspring.

The survival rate of many young Ninja Cats is worrying, so the Ninja Cat Clan cooperates with the Uchiha to improve the survival rate of their cubs.

By placing the excess cubs in Stardew Valley for cultivation, they can at least be guaranteed food and drink here with the Uchiha, and they can also build closer relationships with the Uchiha clansmen.

The children all loved fluffy things, and upon hearing that there were Ninja Cats to pet and milk tea to drink, they scurried off in a flash.

They didn't even care to look at the den den mushi they had just been enjoying teasing.

This group of young den den mushi, which imitated children's voices, instantly made all sorts of peculiar expressions like emojis.

Only Aburame Shibi, who lacked presence, remained squatting in place.

He squatted beside a small den den mushi, the half-carrot in his hand completely intact; surprisingly, not a single den den mushi ran over to eat what he was holding.

"Wow, so many kittens."

"Are Ninja Cats really this cute? Why does my Inuzuka Clan only have dogs?"

Hearing Inuzuka Tsume's question, Hatake Shoichi secretly retorted, "Idiot, dogs are also very cute. After all, cats are naturally quite aloof."

Thinking this to himself, he also glanced at Uchiha Hezi beside him, unable to help but nod inwardly in praise of his own wisdom.

"No wonder the Uchiha are good at keeping cats."

The aloof manner of the Uchiha was exactly the same as the Ninja Cats!

Just as he was thinking this, a fluffy kitten stretched its body as it passed by his feet. As if tilting its head inadvertently, it gently rubbed against his pant leg, then naturally lay down in front of Shoichi.

"Huh?"

Hatake Shoichi, who had never interacted with Ninja Cats before, saw this situation for the first time.

He thought this Ninja Cat was trying to scam him.

He just stood there blankly, his hands not even petting the kitten's belly.

Hatake Shoichi stood rigidly in place, making Uchiha Hezi anxious to death.

"Go ahead and pet it!"

Looking at Hatake Shoichi's foolish appearance, Uchiha Hezi pulled on Shoichi's sleeve and dragged him to the kitten's side.

"When a kitten shows you its belly, it means it wants to get close to you. How can you resist not petting it? Here, first stroke the cat's chin, then scratch its belly. Once it turns over on its own, you should pet its head."

Hatake Shoichi watched as the kitten actively rubbed against him, sticking intimately to his palm, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but curl up.

"It is, so, so cute."

Recalling the kitten's aloof behavior just now, he immediately lost his previous thoughts of retorting.

Hatake Shoichi smiled knowingly; having a cat in hand versus not having a cat in hand resulted in completely different expressions.

"These Ninja Cats and Ninja Dogs are really quite different."

In the Cat Cafe milk tea shop, it wasn't just kittens. There were also two adult Ninja Cats watching over these little ones.

One of them had even transformed into a giant, two-meter-tall humanoid cat, making milk tea for everyone at the counter.

This giant cat was named Yuta. It was very good at cooking and had a lot of patience with children, quickly winning the affection of the little brats.

If Uchiha Fucheng were here, he would definitely be surprised. With giant cat-people of this size, furry fans would definitely come to join the fun.

The other adult Ninja Cat seemed a bit lazy; it was a tabby cat with a scar over its left eye.

Its fierce appearance made these young visiting Ninjas actively avoid it.

But only Hyuga Hanachi, the quiet girl who would give birth to the future "Crown Princess Hyuga Hinata," was very fond of this fierce-looking Ninja Cat.

"Kitty, I have rice cakes here, try this." Hyuga Hanachi called out while reaching over.

But before this young girl, who looked remarkably like HyugaHanabi, could touch the Ninja Cat, the scarred tabby immediately dodged away.

Moreover, this Ninja Cat named "Sanjunmaru" could actually speak human language.

"Who is Kitty? Don't call me Kitty anymore; you all call everyone Kitty."

The irritable Ninja Cat brother spoke, transforming into the appearance of a giant tiger.

It looked down from above, unhappily watching Hyuga Hanachi with her pure eyes.

The other children, seeing the tiger-like Ninja Cat, screamed in terror.

But this Byakugan-wielding girl was not only unafraid but happily moved even closer.

"Kitty, you are so majestic." Being approached by the quiet Hyuga Hanachi made the Ninja CatSanjunmaru pause in surprise.

But in that moment of distraction, "Sanjunmaru" was instantly petted on the belly by this agile Byakugan-wielding girl.

"Wow, so soft, so fluffy!"

Seeing that turning into a tiger could only scare the other young Ninjas and couldn't make this Byakugan-wielding girl feel the slightest bit of fear, Sanjunmaru shook its tiger head in boredom.

Turning around and curling up, it transformed back into its cat form.

Hyuga Hanachi was immediately happy and scooped the Ninja Cat into her arms.

"You are so well-behaved, Kitty."

"Don't call me Kitty."

Just as Sanjunmaru was about to bare its fangs, a piece of sugar-coated rice cake was shoved over by Hyuga Hanachi.

The other children were having a great time in the Cat Cafe, but only Namiashi Raido and Aoba Yamashiro felt they were too noisy.

They followed that red-haired boy to see the Ninja Crow beasts kept by the Uchiha.

The UchihaNinja Crow area was located next to a small grove. In addition to the tree nests where the adult crows lived, they had built a row of small houses for hatching young crows and treating injured ones.

Namiashi Raido and Aoba Yamashiro were currently just six years old and not very tall, so they could only stand on tiptoes and lean on the fence to look.

Both of them had encountered Ninja Crow beasts in Konoha, especially Aoba Yamashiro, who possessed various Ninjutsu that coordinated with Ninja Crows, which could be considered a rare and unique Ninja Crow secret technique in Konoha.

Previously, Uchiha Fucheng had even suspected whether this Aoba Yamashiro was Uchiha Shisui, who had faked his death.

Later, after being reborn into this world, Fucheng discovered that the ages of Aoba Yamashiro and Shisui did not match at all, which dispelled his doubts.

This couldn't be blamed on Uchiha Fucheng for being suspicious.

After all, Aoba Yamashiro's clan was always mysterious; not only did the clan members always wear sunglasses to cover their eyes, but they were also particularly adept at using Ninja Crows.

If these were all coincidences, then this Yamashiro Clan was also good at using Fire Release, Genjutsu, and Mind Control. Putting these elements together, they could be called a "Youth Version, Mini Version of Uchiha Ninjas."

At this moment, in the Ninja Crow care area, there were a few sick Ninja Crows basking in the sun listlessly.

Aoba Yamashiro, who was skilled in Ninja Crow secret techniques, immediately discovered the problem.

"These Ninja Crows have been losing feathers recently, right?" The little boy asked the UchihaNinja in charge, immediately piquing Nagato's curiosity.

Uchiha Xing nodded, curiously looking at the strange boy wearing sunglasses, "Yes, these Ninja Crows started showing a decrease in appetite and feather loss three days ago, but we have already fed them medicine to help with digestion."

Aoba Yamashiro frowned slightly, "It shouldn't be indigestion. You should check the surrounding water sources; this might be metal poisoning."

Nagato was even more puzzled; why could a young boy from Konoha Village, after just one glance at the crows, determine that the Ninja Crows had metal poisoning?

Nagato asked curiously, "Why would they have metal poisoning?"

Aoba Yamashiro explained, "Ninja Crows have a much larger appetite than ordinary crows; they need to swallow a lot of stones to help with digestion. But because swallowing ordinary stones can easily scratch their throats and stomachs, most Ninja Crows look for smooth river stones or pebbles at the riverside or water sources. If the stones they swallow contain a large amount of special metal, the Ninja Crows will suffer from metal poisoning. Refusal to eat and feather loss are the obvious symptoms of the illness. There is another characteristic: in the Ninja Crows' excrement, you can see gravel-like food residue."

Nagato, standing nearby, was amazed by Aoba Yamashiro.

Uchiha Xing, who was looking after the Ninja Crows, also had his eyes light up after hearing Aoba Yamashiro's explanation.

"That's amazing! Could we ask you to treat these Ninja Crows? We can gift you some adult breeder Ninja Crows."

Aoba Yamashiro clenched his fists in joy. This young man's goal was exactly this.

The first time he saw these UchihaNinja Crows, he was incredibly envious. Compared to Aoba Yamashiro's own, these Ninja Crows were not only larger in size but also had a longer wingspan. They also had beautiful jet-black feathers and sharp beaks; they were definitely summon beasts that had been carefully bred for many generations.

He didn't expect that by treating the Ninja Crows, he could directly win this prize he had been longing for. This made the young man, Aoba Yamashiro, unable to suppress the corners of his mouth from curling up in happiness.

The morning tour came to an end. To encourage the children to interact with each other, the Ninja Academy teachers at Stardew Valley interspersed these orphan Ninja Academy students among the Konoha children.

Basically, next to every Uchiha child were two or three partners from various Ninja clans in Konoha Village, and in each team, there were five or six orphan Ninja Academy students from Stardew Valley. These ten-person squads turned Stardew Valley into a playground.

That afternoon, in addition to the tour, Stardew Valley arranged a unique and fun sports meet for the children. Chakra tree-climbing to grab blind box prizes. A three-legged race completed with one's own shadow clone. A fun Ninja tool throwing competition—

The strange and fun competitions made the children's enthusiasm soar. For example, in the Ninja tool throwing area, a very unconventional "horse" ran out.

In events like guess-throwing and shuriken moving target throwing, a non-Uchiha boy actually won the championship.

One must know that the Uchiha throwing technique is extremely famous throughout the Ninja World. Yet, this ordinary-looking little boy from Konoha Village outperformed many Uchiha youths and Stardew Valley geniuses to become the final champion.

"My name is Tianyu. My dream is to open my own Ninja tool store and have all the Ninjas in Konoha come to me to buy Ninja tools."

The little boy Tianyu held the golden Kunai grand prize from the fun competition high above his head and shouted his dream with high spirits.

This young boy shouted his name, which immediately made the Uchiha ClanNinjas realize that this was a key object of attention specifically instructed by the clan leader.

As Tenten's father, Tianyu dreamed of opening a Ninja tool store and developing the most useful Ninja tools. His identity as one of the parents of the Konoha 12 had long been written in Uchiha Fucheng's "little notebook."

As the person in charge of Stardew Valley, Uchiha Hongshi naturally extended an olive branch.

"Young man, your dream is great. The Uchiha Clan is willing to help you realize your dream."

Originally just out on a field trip with friends, the little boy, who hadn't even graduated yet, didn't expect to win his first pot of gold in life because of his unborn daughter.

Tianyu, who was only good at [Ninja Tool Throwing], was shocked by the Uchiha's wealth and generosity.

Far away in the Land of Lightning, Uchiha Fucheng immediately received a brand new notification: [Change the fate trajectory of Tenten].
