Long Chen frowned. The branches were incredibly tough. They also contained immense power and moved with remarkable speed. Since he didn't understand the tree, he decided to retreat for now and come up with a plan.
Just as he was about to fall back, the branches seemed to read his mind and closed in on him. Long Chen's eyes narrowed, and he quickly brought the Blackwind Sword up to defend. An extremely terrifying force erupted from the clash.
