When the plane arrived in Jiangcheng, it was almost midnight.
The Nan Family was brightly lit, with all the elders and children waiting for Nan Mufeng and Jian Xi to return.
Little Pumpkin had been sleepy for a while. Yu Ling tried to coax him to go to bed several times, but he refused, insisting on waiting for Daddy and Mommy to come back.
Finally, the sound of a car honking was heard outside the house, and Little Pumpkin jumped up, running barefoot with his short little legs: "Daddy and Mommy are back!"
Yu Ling quickly sped up, running over to scoop Little Pumpkin into her arms, then ran with him outside.
Nan Tian, with difficulty moving his legs, could only follow helplessly behind his wife and grandson.
"Daddy, Mommy!"
The child's clear voice pierced the quiet night sky. Like spring water flowing through a mountain stream, or metal striking stone... how could one describe it as anything but "melodious"?
"Son!"
