Edward was too lazy to answer the door, and opened his wardrobe to change clothes. There were many osmanthus trees on the street he passed by last night, and they smelled very fragrant.
"Ding dong, ding dong"
The doorbell kept ringing, as if not opening the door would not suffice.
Edward was utterly annoyed, so he shuffled in his slippers to answer the door.
"Edward, I've come to see you." Alisha stood at the door, smiling charmingly. She wore a pink lace dress, very girlish, and held a bouquet of fresh sunflowers in her arms.
A beauty with flowers, this was a pleasing sight for anyone.
Except Edward.
"What are you doing here?" Edward glared at Alisha, with no intention of inviting her in. He was irritated by women in general right now, especially this woman he disliked!
Alisha's smile became even sweeter: "Won't you invite me in? I've brought you flowers."
"Men don't like flowers." Edward stood unmoving.
"Then what do you like? I can give it to you."
