Chapter 3 - Kidnapped

What are all these bodies doing around me? Don't look at me like that. Yes, I've killed some people in this world, but not these ones.

I don't like this kind of killing. When you kill someone, you should torture them while doing it. If you don't do it physically, make it psychological. Don't kill them quickly; respect the thrill that comes from your heart as you kill.

But it doesn't matter. The blood is everywhere around me, and that's enough. I feel ecstatic, as if I'm making love to multiple women at once.

I know you want to know who killed these people. Honestly, I've grown tired of the calm life I've been living. It's been 14 years in this world, so I surrendered to these fools when they tried to kidnap me. I wanted some fun. There were more than 30 of them with levels ranging from 15 to 20.

I've increased my abilities and status a bit. When I kill a monster or engage in a fight, my level rises, and when that happens, I can improve my skills and abilities.

After raising my first levels, I boosted my "status" because it's crucial to know everything about those around me. So, I looked at one of these bastards, sons of whores, and thought about the status:

Name: Rashad

Title: The Reckless

Species: Human

Level: 17

Profession: Thief and Highwayman

Specialization: Warrior

Abilities: Thunder Strike

Feelings towards you: Greedy and covetous

Now I can know the specialization, title, level, and abilities. No one else can see these levels; they don't measure their strength by levels but by other things.

I knew they would take me through the forest because they wanted to escape quickly using shortcuts. What they didn't know was that it would be their death path because they had no idea I had prepared some nice surprises for them, hahaha.

You know my surprises always involve a lot of blood. As they moved skillfully through the dense forest, one of them carried me on his shoulder, and I pretended to cry. Of course, I was acting; I'm quite good at it. I did it to make them believe I was scared. One of them called me a cowardly fool. If only he knew that in my world, I killed ten of his kind every day, he would drop dead from shock.

So, I didn't care what he said. I was still a child and had to make sure no one thought otherwise.

I've learned many things about this world. There are four types of creatures in this world, with each pair residing in specific regions.

Humans reside in the eastern half of the world, while demons inhabit the western half. Monsters roam the territories of both humans and demons, and hybrids live among humans. Each has its own unique abilities. Humans are divided into three main classes: warrior, mage, and beast tamer, with each class having its own branches. A human can only practice one specialty in their lifetime, except under certain circumstances.

Since I don't consider myself human but rather a bloodthirsty beast, this condition doesn't apply to me.

Demons also have three categories similar to humans: warrior, mage, and shapeshifter. They follow the same condition as humans, except under certain circumstances. Monsters' strength is measured by their age; the older the monster, the stronger it becomes.

Hybrids are half-human and half-monster or half-demon and half-monster. Their strength is weaker than that of humans and other creatures, which is why humans and demons have made them their slaves.

These are the races and creatures in this world. I bet you're expecting a fierce war between demons and humans. I did too initially and hoped for it because I love blood, as I mentioned. In wars, there's no shortage of blood—children, women, the elderly—everything is fair game in war.

Unfortunately, this wish hasn't come true. There is peace between humans and demons. Humans are forbidden from killing demons but can kill monsters.

Today, I'm kidnapped of my own free will, hahaha, because I want to enjoy killing these fools.

I continued crying until we reached a specific point I knew well. Here, I pulled out a dagger hidden in my clothes, placed my hand over the mouth of the man carrying me, and smeared some paralyzing poison on his neck. I slashed his throat swiftly from side to side, causing blood to gush out. This idiot couldn't scream due to the poison. As he fell to the ground, I whispered with a smile:

"I know you're in pain, but don't worry. I'll make sure you die now to end your suffering."

I plunged the dagger into his left eye, waited a few seconds, then swiftly stabbed it into his chest until he died. One down, twenty-nine to go.

I feel today is going to be beautiful.

I quickly moved back because I knew they would notice my escape. I hid among the trees, accompanied by a large, red cat and thirty smaller ones. These monsters were the first I tamed after learning the art of taming. Villagers call them Fire Cats, not just because of their red fur, hehe. The cat beside me has lived for over 70 years. If measured by human standards, it would be level 25, while the others range from level 10 to 17. I don't need more than that. Once I confirmed my dear cats were ready, I returned to the corpse and began crying loudly, surprised that these idiots hadn't found us yet.

After a few seconds, they appeared before me. I kept crying. Once they saw the corpse, each raised their weapon in a defensive stance. Rashad approached me and asked:

"Who did this, you fool?"

I wiped my fake tears with my hand and looked at him intensely.

He came closer until only the corpse separated us. At that moment, I drew my dagger and with my right hand, stabbed him forcefully in the mouth. He fell to the ground. I quickly pulled out his tongue and burned it with fire from my left hand while my right hand continued stabbing parts of his body. I looked him in the eye intensely, threw the ashes of his tongue on his face, and said with a sweet smile:

"Who's the coward now?"

Once I ensured he was sent to hell, I turned to the others.

Their faces were etched with shock and disbelief, frozen in their places, unable to comprehend what was happening. A small child who had been crying just a minute ago had single-handedly killed one of the group's strongest warriors.

I broke the heavy silence and said in a cold voice,

"Two down, twenty-eight to go."

Then, with a chilling smile, I added,

"I think today is going to be beautiful."

Taking a step forward, I raised my head towards the sky and said with a tone filled with defiance,

"What do you say we make the heavens rain blood?"
