The noise was getting louder, and the screams too. The place was shaking because of those terrifying and panicked sounds.
I looked around and found that everyone's faces were pale and frightened, except for one face that was burning with excitement.
It was Shard. He was looking towards the direction of the sounds, then he quickly turned to me and said:
"Don't move from here. I'll come back for you. If anything happens, run."
He said that and quickly ran towards the sounds.
But, of course, I wasn't going to listen to any word he said.
Hahahaha, I want to see the blood and the battle, for god's sake.
So, I did the opposite of what he said and followed him.
I went after him. He was running as if he was racing the wind, not caring about anyone behind him.
Everyone was getting out of his way after he unleashed his blue aura.
Finally, he reached the source of the sounds.
There were only 20 Celestial Spiders, and one of the spiders was eating a human girl's head.
Another spider was tearing apart a man's body, destroying his intestines from the inside, and eating his guts in such a terrifying way that it could make anyone want to vomit.
I stood on a tree watching. I may have decided not to kill some, but that doesn't mean I'll help them.
I am not a hero, for god's sake, to help anyone who screams. Let them defend themselves.
Screams of pain and suffering were coming from their weak mouths while their limbs were being cut off in a brutal and harsh manner.
Monsters don't understand something called humanity or mercy. They just want to eat.
And here is their food, screaming in pain. That didn't stop them from tearing it apart more and in a more horrific way.
I saw Shard pulling his large sword from behind his back, raising it in the air, and bringing it down with great force on the head of the spider.
The sword was emitting a huge amount of energy, leaving me in a state of astonishment and disbelief.
It came down on the spider, splitting its body into two halves in one blow.
Each half fell to the opposite side, and the guts fell in the middle, announcing the spider's complete death.
After seeing this scene, I became more determined to break through to the Lord level so I could have such overwhelming power.
He was swinging his sword from one monster to another as if it were a small sword, even though this sword was as tall as he was and very thick. I was amazed at how he used it.
This sword was releasing a strange and massive aura from within.
A great pressure of energy was crushing any monster that came under the sword's power, turning it into a mass of blood and guts.

**Sword of Shijin**
**Name:** Legendary sword blessed by the King of Swords, Shijin.
**Description:** Chooses one person every thousand years and doubles their power.
I read about this sword in one of the books and possess some skills related to it, legendary skills found in the Demon King's books.
It is truly a treasure. Shard is extremely lucky and powerful; not just anyone can possess the will to use this sword.
When his sword hit a spider's head, it completely destroyed it, turning it into small pieces.
Suddenly, he stopped and whispered:
"Breaking Strike."
His sword emitted a very strong aura.
He placed the sword on the ground, raised it into the air, and threw it.
The sword moved through the air among the spiders' heads, cutting off more than five heads quickly before returning to his hand.
After this strike, Shard lost most of his strength after killing more than 10 spiders, and the other fighters took care of the rest.
Shard didn't rest; he looked back and started searching for something.
He headed towards the place where he left me.
When he didn't find me, I felt that his face was in a state of shock, so I whispered:
"Shadow Steps."
I appeared behind him and jumped to reach an appropriate height, placed my hand on his shoulder, and landed back on the ground again, saying to him:
"Well done."
He looked at me with great shock and said:
"How long have you been here? I didn't feel your presence."
He said this with a serious look on his face.
"I have been here just now," I said, smiling.
"I was looking for you," he said, putting his sword back into the scabbard on his back.
"Yes, I knew, so I came to you."
A look of confusion and strangeness appeared on his face, but he finally sighed and said:
"Let's keep moving. We need to reach the academy as soon as possible. We have four days left to get out of the forest."
Shard and I were walking together and sitting together, and he started telling me a lot about his life.
