Chapter 66 - "Awakening the Chaos: A Child's Wrath

My mind was about to explode; I couldn't understand a thing.

I remember this ring well—it was the one I took from that strange creature.

What the hell is it doing here?

I truly don't understand anything. What is happening?

My mind desperately tried to recall any other memories about this ring before my eyes.

But I couldn't remember anything else. It was the same ring that had been on my hand throughout my previous life.

The same strange engravings that I never understood, no matter how hard I tried, no matter how much I searched for its secrets.

"Analyze."

Name: Ring of Chaos

Creator: King of Kings

Abilities: Unable to view before level 150

The Ring of Chaos—I remember that name. The old dragon told me about it. He said that King Darius died because of his quest to find this artifact, the most powerful creation of the King of Kings. A great war erupted because of this artifact, and due to that war, the hybrid creatures ended up in their current miserable state.

But what was the Ring of Chaos doing on the ground and in the hand of that strange creature?

Yes, I remember now.

Yes!

He told me, while he was torturing me, that he found this ring in some meteor and stole it without anyone noticing.

So, the most important question now is:

How did this artifact travel from this world to my original one? Is there a way for me to return to Earth or go to other worlds? I don't know.

I looked at the Pearl of Destiny and whispered:

"Analyze."

Name: Pearl of Destiny

Creator: King of Kings

Abilities: Control over the armies of the King of Kings

The armies of the King of Kings… Are there other armies besides the armies of darkness? Are there other armies? I don't understand anything.

But my heart started to beat strongly. I felt excitement, and anticipation, as if something big was waiting for me.

And I felt that I was going to witness many battles and massacres.

Yes, I felt confused, but to hell with everything.

I don't care who the King of Kings is, or who King Darius is, or about these cursed artifacts that I don't understand.

I only know one thing: anything that stands in my way, I will destroy.

I will make it regret the day it came into this world and curse its mother for bringing it into existence.

I tried to pick up the ring or the pearl with my hands, but I couldn't; they felt like illusions.

Suddenly, my body sensed danger using the ability I developed to detect threats even while meditating.

So I quickly opened my eyes and withdrew my spirit.

In front of me stood a short man with a brown mustache and black hair, carrying a small sword on his waist.

Beside him was a girl with red hair and green eyes, feminine in every sense of the word, her curves clearly visible as if inviting you to a heated game where you know you'll win regardless of the outcome, so there's no need to worry.

But I wasn't interested in her overwhelming beauty, those beautiful eyes, or anything else.

All I cared about at that moment was how her pretty head would look when it touched the ground.

she said, looking at me.

replied the short man.

This girl is a level 55 mage.

And that ugly short man is a level 50 warrior.

she said, looking at me.

"Hahaha, pity? You should pity yourselves because you can't imagine what's going to happen to you now," I said, a wide grin spreading across my face.

the short man cursed, enraged.

"Shadow Steps."

I appeared behind the short man; his face was about to hit the ground because of it.

I unleashed my blue aura and quickly summoned my sword, which was also undergoing some strange developments.

Green engravings began to appear clearly on it, so I whispered:

"Severing Strike."

He couldn't even turn around—his head was already on the ground.

I really enjoy exploiting the fact that I'm a child, so no one expects me to do something like this.

When his head hit the ground, his short body started twitching like a headless chicken.

This sight made me laugh loudly, and my grin grew even more wicked.

I looked at the girl standing there, placed my tongue on the blood-soaked sword, and approached her.

she said, and released a large amount of water from her hand, forming a rather large snake.

"Energy Shield."

The water snake crashed into the shield surrounding my body, so nothing happened to me.

I approached her with steady, calm steps, never taking my eyes off hers.

When I was only a few steps away, the cursed girl began to scream.

she begged, as she released more water snakes that struck my shield without leaving a mark. She began to cry uncontrollably.

she pleaded.

"Haha, don't make me laugh. What a pathetic joke. If you truly knew the right path, you wouldn't be here in front of me now, sitting on the ground and crying," I said, with a wicked grin on my face.

She sat on the ground, hugging her head to her beautiful body, crying slowly and intermittently. I approached her even closer.

She looked at me as if I were a monster about to devour her at any moment.

So I didn't want to disappoint her.

"Say hello to your friends," I whispered.

"Earth Serpent."

Four serpents emerged from the ground, each taking hold of one of her limbs, pinning her down.

Then I began to sever her limbs one by one. She started screaming and crying.

Finally, I drove my sword into her beautiful chest.

I laughed heartily as I finally severed her head. Blood was everywhere.

But damn it, I felt danger behind me.

When I looked back, I saw a powerful attack heading straight towards me.

And it was too late to block it.
