"Hmm, I'll have to go alone, I'm sure I won't get a proper chance to test my abilities around them," Jin thought to himself.
He was still a little worry about what happend in the first day of the opening ceremony, he know there was a high chance someone might suspect him if he showed his powers in front of them.
But that wasn't the only reason... he also wanted to test the limits of his power and his new abilities on some Chaos creatures.
With Yumi, Alucard, and the other students around, there will be no chance to explore his potential.
Since they definitely wouldn't let someone "weak" in their eyes fight those creatures.
Not to mention his sharp thirst for revenge....
Ever since he heard the news about Anvil's fall, Jin had felt something strange inside him.
His thirst for revenge was grew even more stronger.
It wasn't just his emotions, but something in his body had changed.
He didn't know exactly what it was, but a powerful urge had begun growing inside him… a desire to spill blood no matter what it was.
"I have to stay out of their sight, but how?" Jin looked at the students in front of him.
"Alright, students, we will take this path down. Make sure to follow me together," Teacher Sarah called the students out .
Jin was waiting for the right moment to slip away from the sight of the other Students and Teacher Sarah, and soon enough he found the perfect opportunity.
The mountain slope made it easier for him to stay at the back of the group and allow them to descend without noticing his departure, since no one was interested in his presence anyway.
As they descended the slope, Jin was already heading in the opposite direction.
"So, where should I start?" Jin placed a hand on his chin as he looked left and right, thinking about where he should go in this vast place.
"I'm sure the other team will go west. Hmm, should I just go north?"
The northern landscape was incredibly barren, and it didn't look promising at all. The entire area ahead of him was somehow dark and vast, filled with winding paths and many hills.
The ground itself was covered with cracks and broken, jagged rocks stretching for long distances, making movement difficult from the start.
The wind here was dry and hot, carrying dust that stung the face and eyes, making it harder to see and slowing him down.
Not to mention the dangerous creatures in that direction which one of Jin's abilities allowed him to sense the presence of Chaos creatures.
Going that way alone was extremely risky. If something happened to him, tracking him down in the north would be incredibly difficult.
But Jin didn't care much. At that moment, the only thing he wanted was to kill those creatures in the most brutal ways possible.
So Jin decided to go anyway, he moved to the north and began making his way through the hills.
"Tsk, this ground is rough."
After a few minutes of walking, Jin finally spotted a Chaos creature from a mountain slope.
It was the first living Chaos creature he had seen since the forest incident with his grandfather.
"Hmm… just a goblin." Even though it was a weak goblin, Jin's body trembled with fear.
Jin clenched his fists "Come on… this isn't the time to be scared."
He watched the goblin digging in the ground as if it were searching for something.
"All I have to do is use the Blood to make a sword and cut its back... Simple."
"Stop shaking, you damn body!" Jin muttered, sweating and trembling as he stared at the simple goblin in front of him.
Then Jin pulled out a needle-like spike from his pocket and stabbed his finger with it, causing it to bleed.
After that, he imagined the blood transforming into a sword.
The moment Jin used his power and formed the Blood Sword, the goblin suddenly twisted its head around and fixed its terrifying gaze on him.
And not just that... the rest of the goblins around sensed Jin's presence.
Sweat poured down Jin's face and his body froze as he looked into the monstrous eyes of the ghouls he saw approaching him from the bottom of the slope.
The goblen let out a roar. "Grrraaah!" and then charged straight at him.
"No, no… move, you stupid body!" Jin slammed his knee with his hand, forcing himself to move.
The goblin lunged at Jin, and Jin shouted as he pointed the tip of his sword toward the Chaos creature.
Then, in an almost instinctive move, Jin stabbed the ghoul with his sword, piercing straight through its chest.
"Ding! Congratulations, you killed a goblin, your stats have increased."
Jin heard the sound and fell to his knees, looking at the goblin's corpse in front of him.
Blood began to be drawn from the goblin's body, heading towards Jin's blood sword and disappearing into it.
"Haaaah... " Jin was shocked.
"Did I kill it this easily, just like that ?!"
Jin stood up, only to hear the screams of many goblins heading his way "Shit, that's bad!"
"Breathe, breathe, focus, focus, they are weak." Jin raised his sword, trying to focus on the goblins rushing towards him.
One of the goblins jumped to Jin's right side, so Jin swung his sword horizontally, slicing the goblin in half as easily as if it were a sheet of paper !
"Ding! Congratulations, you killed a goblin, your stats have increased."
"This sword is really sharp!" Jin kept shouted happily as he swinging his sword and moving towards the goblins.
"Grrraaah...grrrraaah...grrrraaah!" Jin killed one goblin after another.
"Heh heh heh, they are weak,"
"Ding! Congratulations, you killed a goblin, your stats have increased."
"Hahaha, take this!"
"Ding! Congratulations, you killed a goblin, your stats have increased."
"Hahahahaha, this is amazing !"
Jin shouted with a mix of joy and anger as he slaughtered the goblins one after another.
After a few minutes, the goblins stopped charging at him... he had already killed all the ones in the area.
"Ah… my muscles are starting to hurt," Jin said, breathing heavily as he looked at the goblin corpses in front of him.
"Just wow! this sword is really dangerous… and it's amazing!" Jin raised the bloody sword and examined it closely.
"And where does all the blood from these goblins go? This sword sucks their blood, and then it just disappears!"
"How can all that blood vanish inside such a small sword?" Jin kept wondering as he stared at his sword's incredible power with excitement...
