Chapter 1923 - Chapter 1861: A Deposed Empress Needs a Reason

In winter, night fell quickly, and the food sent to Kunning Palace was still cold and hard.

The trusted Palace Matron of Empress Song brought the food box into the bedchamber and saw Empress Song standing and copying scriptures, feeling a pang in her heart.

"Your Majesty, the meal has arrived." The Palace Matron placed the food box on the small table beside the charcoal brazier, thinking that it might at least become somewhat warm.
