"Iz!!!! Wake up already!!!" Shouted Alya at me.
I set up quickly, "What time is it!?" I asked.
"It's already ten" Nick said from the door.
"Why didn't you wake me up?!" I asked aggressively.
"We tried but you slept really hard and every time we were about to wake you up you said to give you five more minutes" Nick said.
"Ho..." I said, "...sorry"
in the end after yesterday I decided to stay low and give up on hunting until the royal family leaves the city.
"It's not a big deal" Nick said and turned to leave, "Breakfast is ready" he said.
"I'm coming" I said.
I decided that it would be the best for me to stay at Alya's, of course it's not for free!!! I will work in the blacksmith with her until I can go back to hunting and find a place to stay.
I went down to the dining room, the table was set and there were eggs, bacon and a few slices of bread on it. A silly smile came over my face and a drop slipped down from my mouth. I haven't seen such a meal in a long time, I am sooo hungry!
I sat down, Nick on my right and Alya in front of me reading the city's newspaper.
When I was about to bite into a piece of bacon she spoke and said "I already told you about the royal family in town, right?!"
"Yeah, about a million times" Nick said with an annoyed look on his face.
"It turns out that its only the prince and princess, without the king and queen" she continued.
The smile on my mouth faded, my face turned red with anger and my eyes filledwith rage, if it wasn't for that cursed family I could just go hunting and not run into this idiot of a prince.
Nick look at me and burst out laughing, "Wow, I never thought I'd meet someone who hates the royal family more than I do." He said.
I glanced at Nick and then at Alya who was a second away from bursting out laughing.
"You're something else, you know that right?" She said and continued, "It reminds me of the pass, like that time Mrs Omran caught you trying to steal cheese and you had a sour face all day."
My face turned red, "It's not my fault, she could have been more gentle" I said.
"That's also what Anna said, but miss Omran didn't care at all."
Alya stoped laughing and said "how I miss those days".
My eyes filled with tears, you can't cry! Not here! Not in front of them!
"I'll be back in a second" I said and left the house.
"Why did you say that?!" Nick said with a worried face.
"Because she can't keep running away from it." Said Alya "it happened... she can't run away from the past so she have to accept it"
"Still..." said Nick.
"She was also like a sister to me you know" Alya thought to herself.
*at town*
I can't be out like this at day light!!! In the end we will meet again and it will end badly, really really bad!
"Whoah Iz!" I heard a familiar voice, I turned around and saw Rick walking towards me.
"Hey Rick" I said to him with a worried face.
"Sooo, how did it go?" said Rick who put his arm around my shoulder, "Did you get something?".
"No" I shock my head, "I was caught the second I entered."
"Shot" said Rick with a worried look, "well it's not so bad... it's just a guard, he shouldn't be a problem. "
My face began to sweat.
"It was just a guard right?!" Rick asked.
"Define a guard..." I told him.
"Iz!" said Rick "Who saw you?!"
"Prince Christopher..." I said, I couldn't look him in the eyes.
"The–" Nick said stunned "– prince?"
I'm sure his life passed in front of his eyes.
"It's not that bad" I tried to light up the situation "he didn't see my face... I think".
"YOU THINK?!"
"..."
"Ok listen to me very carefully, this is what we're gonna do" Rick said and whispered in my ear "If anybody ask you don't know me".
"Wait a minute–" I held out my hand to catch him but he had already run away, "Goodbye Iz, it was nice to know you!!"
What am I supposed to do now?!
*at the duke's house*
"Anna...It's a nice name" Chris thought, "but it doesn't suit her well".
"Hey!!!" Said a lady "How long are you going to stay in my room?!"
"Well don't be like that Amilia, Its not how royalty should behave. " said Chris, "would you mind if your beloved brother stays here for a while? I have missed you <3"
"Dont say thar again, that's disgusting!" she said, "let's be real you're just running away from the duke's daughter aren't you? what her name was again? Luna?"
"...."
"What do you think of the name Anna?"
"What? Is that her name?" Asked Amilia.
"No, Just what does this name remind you of?" he asked "Like which kind of a human being."
"Mmmm... maybe a well behave good girl kind of vibe" she said.
"Ahahaha" Chris laughed out loud and in his eyes was that cold light, "It really doesn't suit her!" He thought to himself.
"You are really odd"
"I think I just solved our little problem" said Chris.
"Why do you say that?" Amilia asked.
"You will see..." said Chris.
