Chapter 15 - game changer

Chapo Begin to transform.

His body expanded, growing larger and more massive. His skin hardened, turning into rough stone, and his hands became like solid boulders.

"You really thought you had a chance?" he growled arrogantly as the stone armor completed itself. "What a joke."

"Shut up, you bastard! I'm going to destroy you!" Gustavo shouted, rage burning in his eyes.

"So now he thinks he's the king of rocks?" Bia muttered, stepping back, though a hint of defiance lingered in her voice. "Don't get too full of yourself."

Chapo laughed as Gustavo charged forward, slamming his energy-coated fists into Chapo's rocky body. The sound echoed like metal crashing against stone.

"You're just an annoying insect!" Chapo mocked. "I'll crush you into paste!"

He raised his arms and launched small rocks at high speed. Gustavo dodged some, but one struck his shoulder, forcing him back in pain.

"Damn it! Those rocks hit hard!"

Worried, Bia tried to draw Chapo's attention. She formed a bow of electricity and fired, but the rocky armor absorbed most of the impact.

Damn… my power isn't working on him, she thought, frustration creeping in.

"Nice try, kid," Chapo sneered. "But you're barely scratching the surface!"

Then he slammed his fists into the ground. Rocks burst upward and surged toward them. Gustavo dodged, but one struck Bia's leg, knocking her down.

"AHH—MY LEG!"

"That's all you've got?" Chapo laughed. "Still… you entertained me a little."

Gustavo's fury exploded at the sight.

"You bastard… you're going to pay for that!"

He kept attacking as Bia struggled to stand. The fight intensified—but Chapo clearly dominated.

Meanwhile, Isadora, already exhausted and breathing heavily, couldn't understand how they had grown so strong overnight.

She had taken down four of Chipilo's men, but the battle had drained her. Her body showed signs of fatigue and injuries—but her determination didn't waver.

"You did well… but the game's over, girl!" Chipilo shouted, flames intensifying around him.

"You'll need more than fire to take me down!" she shot back, panting.

As Chipilo prepared his next attack, she heard Bia's scream.

Her eyes darted to the side.

Bia… damn it. I need to help them—but I'm stuck with these…

That concern triggered something inside her.

Tired and wounded, Isadora began releasing thick smoke. Her skin flushed red—signs of a power she had tried to keep hidden.

"What the hell is that?" Chipilo said, startled. "You think smoke will scare me?"

"You have no idea what's coming," she said, her eyes burning with fury. "I was saving this for Chapo… but I guess I don't have that luxury anymore."

The smoke thickened. Veins began to show across her skin.

"What the hell…" Chipilo muttered, now alarmed.

"You wanted revenge, didn't you?" she said coldly. "Then come and face me."

Despite her injuries, she stood tall.

Natan and Jujulo rushed her.

"Let's finish her—she's already worn out!"

Isadora smirked. She dodged Natan's strike, grabbed his arm, and used his momentum against him—slamming him into Jujulo and knocking both down.

"That's it? What a disappointment."

Leaving them defeated, she turned to Chipilo.

"I saved this for someone worthy. You want revenge? Then come. Let's end this."

Meanwhile, Zeki stood firm, his psychic barrier holding strong as he faced eight opponents with eerie calm.

He ignored their taunts, focusing only on movement and timing.

"Hey, kid! Think you're some kind of hero? You won't last like that!"

As flames from their attacks intensified, Zeki saw an opportunity.

He raised his hand—and began gathering heat from the surroundings.

The flames, fueled by his enemies, started spiraling toward him.

Time to end this.

With a subtle motion, he shaped the energy into a vortex—wind and fire merging into a swirling storm.

At its center, a draconic form began to emerge.

"What… what is he doing?" Za muttered, stunned.

The fire-and-wind dragon fully formed, glowing with immense energy. The heat and pressure forced the eight enemies to step back in fear.

"You should've run when you had the chance," Zeki said calmly.

With a decisive gesture, he unleashed it.

The elemental dragon surged forward, crashing into them with overwhelming force. The impact sent them flying into a nearby lake, extinguishing the flames and leaving them soaked and disoriented.

That should keep them out for a while.

Zeki turned immediately and moved toward Chapo.

He raised his psychic shield and slammed it down onto the stone giant, creating a massive crater.

Gustavo and Bia barely understood what happened—but as Chapo began to rise, Zeki stepped back.

"Hah… you're not the kid who was fighting my men," Chapo growled, surprised and furious. He looked around, realizing what had happened. "So those useless idiots got beaten? And you… with that reddish hair—you look like a clown!"

"ZEKI, stay out of this! That guy hurt Bia—he's mine!" Gustavo shouted.

"Gustavo, not now! We need to help Isadora!" Bia said urgently.

Zeki ignored them, his focus locked on Chapo.

Chapo swung a massive punch—but Zeki deflected it with psychic force.

"Oh, the red clown is trying to stop me," Chapo mocked.

"Don't compare me to them," Zeki replied calmly.

Chapo unleashed a barrage of heavy attacks. Zeki dodged, redirecting force and pushing him back with controlled psychic pressure.

"You really think your tricks will work?" Chapo sneered. "You'll just tire yourself out!"

"Underestimate me if you want," Zeki said. "You'll see my power is more than a trick."

"Haha! That red hair just makes me want to crush you even more!"

"Please don't tell me insults are your strongest weapon," Zeki replied, unfazed.

"Tch… what an annoying ability. Typical coward style," Chapo muttered.
