Upon hearing Li Chen's words, the corners of the Cat Emperor's mouth curled into a peculiar smile.
"Not long at all, just a few years."
The Cat Emperor crossed his arms, looking at Li Chen with great interest. "I just didn't expect that in just a few years you would run all the way to Gonghua Heaven. If my master hadn't sent me over, I probably wouldn't have found you."
"Your master?" Li Chen's face twitched.
The Cat Emperor himself was a powerful Immortal Emperor, and yet he had a master.
"Indeed." The Cat Emperor chuckled. "You should know my master, his name is Lingbao."
Upon hearing this name, Li Chen's eye twitched even more.
He originally thought Lingbao was solely intent on finding Mo Daoyi, or rather the monster within Mo Daoyi for revenge, and had no time to bother with him. Little did he know, the old fellow was already prepared.
