Four years later in the summer, Gong Lingtuo retired and switched careers, mainly due to being injured in the line of duty, making it unsuitable for him to continue in that profession.
He initially wanted to make this profession his lifelong career, willing to dedicate his entire life to the country, but now that he has switched careers, he does not harbor any negative emotions because he has no regrets.
From eighteen to now at thirty years old, he has sacrificed the best of his youth for the great cause of the country, leaving no regrets behind.
He has lived up to his parents' expectations, met the teachings of Zhan Moxiao and Ou Lan, and honored his own dreams.
Now, with his career change, he returns alone to Capital City, to Ailan Castle.
