"You wait outside first, I'll go in alone and take a look!" Ye Haochuan considered it for a moment, then said to Niu Kui.
The decision was not surprising.
Niu Kui was too large; Ye Haochuan simply couldn't use his invisibility ability to bring him in.
"But there are so many powerful demon beasts inside, what if something happens to you?" Niu Kui asked, somewhat worried.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine!" Ye Haochuan replied, touched. "It's you who should be careful outside, there are quite a few demon beasts as well, be sure to hide yourself!"
At this point, Ye Haochuan became even more worried about leaving Niu Kui alone.
After some thought, he finally decided to set up an invisibility array for Niu Kui. As long as he stayed inside, no one outside would see him or feel his presence.
With that done, night fell.
Instructing Niu Kui not to leave the array easily, Ye Haochuan then sneaked toward the city gate under the cover of darkness.
