Electra's POV
I was barely holding myself together, but there was absolutely no way I intended on letting anyone notice that. Somehow, it felt like I had gotten worse overnight because compared to yesterday, when I had only felt a little weak and exhausted, today felt entirely different. My whole body felt heavy in a way I could not properly explain, and there was an unbearable heat burning under my skin that made me feel restless no matter what I did.
I was currently sitting inside the bathtub in my bathroom, completely submerged in water, hoping that maybe the water would calm my body down a little and stop me from feeling like I was slowly burning alive from the inside out. Unfortunately, instead of feeling better, I somehow felt even worse.
The worst part was that the water was no longer cold like it was just a while ago.
