On the evening of October 26, 2010, after five o'clock, as the sky grew dim, a red glow wrapped the desert. Las Vegas, this enchanting yet dangerous city, was about to embrace its own beautiful night.
In the city center of Las Vegas, unlike other American cities, there are no towering, densely packed glass skyscrapers. Instead, there are glittering casino hotels, ultra-luxurious in design and decoration, glowing brightly at night, attracting people there, like Siren Sea Demons inviting indulgence and intoxication.
Among these hotel complexes, the most central and striking is the massive sports-hotel Union, the Gump Center. It stands like the Ancient Roman Colosseum at the heart of hearts, and since its opening, it has become the most famous entertainment complex in Las Vegas.
Today marks the start of the 2010-2011 NBA regular season, with a heavyweight NBA regular-season game taking place here.
