The villagers chased to the riverside. Seeing the situation, they, being kind-hearted folks, couldn't let someone die over a duck. Standing on the shore, they shouted loudly at Lin Kong in the river, "Little thief, don't cross the river, come back quickly, it's dangerous, you'll drown."
All the villagers said in unison, "Yes, come back quickly, we won't chase you anymore!"
Lin Kong didn't believe them. They were just shouting to catch and kill him, chasing him so hard his pants nearly fell off. And now they weren't chasing him anymore?
Bullshit, he didn't believe it.
Now, alone in Moli Country, with all his martial arts skills lost, he had to be very cautious.
This little thief valued food over life, and the villagers couldn't do anything about him. In the end, they could only watch helplessly as he waded across the river and slipped away.
